I think there is some Chinese things that might be difficult to understand unless you have worked on set in China. The industry is pretty much how it is portrayed, full of drunk ktv nights, long hours on set, no intimacy coordinator and complicated relationships (don’t ask me how do I know that). The budget is good, morally gray characters, the script is not bad and most actors are good, great even. I hope this is getting enough buzz? I haven’t check the Chinese side to know.

the teen casting was soooooo good. both look the same as well as the chemistry and vibes. Really surprising!

if you read the novel, it has even less drama then the tv show. it’s pretty chill. pond also mentioned that it is a “feel good” series for the end of the year. no nonsense drama, just fluff.

I’m with Jinn in this one, not only has she been lying but she has dealt with this the wrong from the very beginning. if the same thing would’ve happened to me then she would be out of my life in an instant.

khun thee is so dramatic, he made me laugh so much in this episode!! considering the novel, the last scene was quite a surprise. tbh I think the series is even better than the novel which is so unusual.
