This is the longest series I have ever watched but I really enjoyed it. It took me quite a few episodes before I got into it and the characters. About 25 episodes in, I was hooked and I binged watch the last 75 episodes from there over two days.
I liked the chemistry between Aue and Aek but the dialogue/storyline of the last two episodes made no sense esp the pad thai / hugging scene after the competition. If they had replaced the pad thai / hugging scene with the i love pork scene (but set in the kitchen) the rest of the series (as is) would have made more sense. It still wouldn't solve the problem that the two characters (as written) seem emotionally repressed when it comes to verbal communication.
I am 40 mins into the first episode and this feels like the show Dexter. Is that what this series is based on or was Dexter actually based on an Asian series?
Great series. Very satisfying ending. I could use another 16 episodes or maybe even a mini season to see the couple have their first summer together and show Da On head to college and see him meet his first bf.
I hope Shin-Woo didn't miss his chance to confess his feelings. I think the producer is going to take us to the final episode to see who Tae-Gyeong picks. I'd be happy with either but Shin-Woo has worked the hardest for it. Lol.
