Agree to disagree. I don't find the twists and turns make the drama any easier to watch, it is quite the opposite. This having said, each has personal views. To me the cast of the Court Lady is brilliant, and I appreciate their performance, but the story has gone way too heavy to be enjoyable.

What a drag of tragedies after tragedies, is there no end of them? We watch dramas for good stories, for performance of the cast, but the screen writer and the director have really done a bad job, they kill what could have been a good story by turning characters from bad to worse, from good to stupidity or stubborness just so to prolong the drama to 55 episodes. What the hack.

What a refreshing, entertaining and yet engaging drama, the dialogues, the graphic illustrations, the plots, and the fast pace of the drama keep me glued to the sofa, I can't have enough of it. As a matter of fact, I have been re-watching all the episodes. I had a great time binge watching Thursday when Duboku.net aired 12 episodes in one row (ep 19 thru 30), what a treat!! Next Thursday will the be last batch ep 31 - 36, so sorry to see this drama ends.

This is a real gem, a project with small budget, exceptionally well versed in dialogues and illustrated in great, entertaining details. I am up to episode 21, the plots are deep but the good guys always out smart the bad guys, what a relief.

The plots, the dialogues, are superb, it has been a long time since I last saw a drama like this. The literally graphic details, the drawings they made to explain away the medical examinations are so entertaining. The innocence combined with cleverness of the female lead character is so refreshing, she is a perfect match for the young prince. I binge watched all 12 episodes non stop and then watched some of them again, wanting for new episodes, can't wait!!

I believe it is very much a matter of fandom with the netizens in China, many of them are bias, blind to good performance and talents other than their idols, they have eyes only for their favorite stars, no matter what they do or say. Leo Wu is doing great, so does Dilraba and other leads in this drama. I would hate to see fans destroying talents just because they are not their idols. You guys of course know Xiao Zhan, he is good, but many others are good, too. But he gets to stay on top of the most 10 popular stars in the last 3 months in China even though he does not have any tv series or movie being aired. This kind of fandom can ruin so many actors and actress who are worthy for respect and appreciation.

Lousy plot? Agree to disagree. This is a a plot relatable to those days and many of us are enjoying it. In fact it is rated as the second most watched web dramas just last week (check Marcus Sim comments streamed yesterday).

AvenueX does not earn my respect as cdramas commentator, for me she has no respect for actors and actresses she personally dislikes and goes far and beyond for those she likes. She is totally bias and has no control over her own ranting and raving that can be so damaging.

The story stands well, it is a period drama and fits into the dynasty in which it is set. The casting is well chosen, the main male lead does a great job, the main female lead fits into the role she plays. It is not a big production in cinematography, but it has all the essence of how an important family looks and behaves in that period, the dialogues are well written, the costumes are great to watch. It is a very good drama, a bit different from what are being aired. Look forward to the next episodes.
