Pls Don’t believe a thing YSX fans say about He Yu or his fans. They were the ones who bullied him and spread numerous false rumors first. They say they don’t care about any of her MLs but some keep spending time hating on her costars and spreading false rumors. That’s honestly very toxic and I’m not wasting my time responding to them.

Some CP fans just care about a particular ship and don’t care about him or his career. His real fans support all his dramas and roles, and care about his future development as well. But they don’t control what others do online. This is happening because his solo fandom is not established enough. Many of his fans are hoping for things to get better if his role in Blossoms of Power is well-received. In fact, Blossom CP fans also bullied He Yu. Unfortunately this seems to be a common behavior for a lot of CP fans.

No it’s not true. The script writer of SAL said herself in an interview that she wanted a new face to play the ML from the start. She wanted someone with a very manly aura and she looked for a suitable cast for a long time but couldn’t find the right person until she discovered a fan video of He Yu on Dou Yin effortlessly carrying a huge suitcase single-handedly in the airport. Then she reached out to him and they met up in a Japanese restaurant to discuss the role. There’s actual proof of this on Weibo, red note, X and Instagram.

There were no proofs that EY was ever promised an A-list actor as costar. Casting news were not revealed in advance. Don’t believe everything her fandom says. They spread plenty of lies about He Yu and his fans. Just because her fans are loud doesn’t make them right.

And SAL is based on an existing novel where the ML’s story is the core of the plot. It was never a female centric story to begin with. But the production team already changed a lot of the FL’s set up to give her highlights. Her character became stronger in essence compared to the novel. It’s not an individual actor’s fault if the production suddenly changed the original crew or if the script adaptation doesn’t satisfy the FL’s fandom. As a small actor, He Yu doesn’t have the power to influence any of these.

Also, this is He Yu’s solo page. His fans have long moved on from the mess related to SAL when it was done airing. Please refrain from bringing up ex-coworker or false rumors that are unrelated to his current or future works. Thank you.

My way of coping is to focus on promoting his confirmed upcoming works. I don’t bring Weibo issue to international platforms to rage bait unlike her fans. I support him as a person rather than CPs. I don’t hype any melons until official announcement, don’t directly engage with her fandom or other haters. If certain lies or fake rumors need to be clarified, I would write my own posts instead of giving them engagement. It’s a waste of time arguing against ppl who have biased mindsets. They talk bad about him whether he accepts that second collab or not. Those who hate him will always find reasons to hate while those who like him and give him the benefit of the doubt will not be swayed easily by fake rumors and slanders. At the end of the day, he’s enjoying his trip out there. So I try not to let anything negative affect me. Then…. Just trust him I guess and pray for the best. Hopefully BOP will achieve sth for him and his next project will go smoothly. 🙏

Some of her solo fans look down on him right from the beginning. I saw them spreading so many lies about him since Sal filming till now. Ex: saying he was rude to staff based on some videos taken out of context when he actually got along fine with everyone. Saying he got the role in Sal through connections due to having big backing when in reality he was personally chosen by the scriptwriter after she found him on Dou Yin by coincidence. They also spread lies that he or his team bought the script and changed it to make the FL character weaker. Reality is the script never belonged to his company. He doesn’t have the power to change the script or the original crew. If they really read the original novel, the script writer actually made her character stronger cause the novel was never a female centric story to begin with. Anyway, there were issues with that crew and a lot happened. He got blamed unfairly in many occasions. His team and agency were useless and failed to protect or promote him. Because he doesn’t have a big fandom, he was cyber bullied quite badly. His fans protested against SAL crew, trying to advocate for him but got ignored. They were furious and felt helpless. Some Dao Yus fought back against those who slander him, but didn’t achieve much other than getting him more hate. So, his C fans are strongly against a second collab. When certain Sal CP fans create trouble, her fans blame him also. Not only that, her hater (a user called Shen Li) is constantly trying to create fan wars under his new dramas on MDL. It’s so tiring seriously.

Well… still need to look at the actual drama, for plot, character development and acting performances. But Hopefully there won’t be any war or fandom fights. I pray for a smooth airing process during and after the drama ends.

Watch out everyone, that Shen Li user is back. She’s trying hard to create fan wars between actors/ actresses fandoms. She’s a known troll and hater. Please do not engage or give her any attention. Just report directly. To ensure a peaceful environment for Blossoms of Power, please be wise and don’t fall for the trap!

💯 % agree and I’m glad he’s free from that melon. He gets so much unnecessary hate every time that circulates. I hope he gets to work with better script along side veteran actors and more reliable production teams. I’m totally fine if there’s no CP or kissing scenes in his dramas. He needs more solo fans. Not obsessive and irrational CP fans. They got him hated so many times that I can’t count anymore. Getting tired of all the injustice he had to face. Hope his next project is peaceful.

This is based on an existing novel where the plot’s core is Jin Zhao’s background story being revealed through FL’s eyes and experience from following him around to discover what he’s been through. This is how the author set up the story. In the novel, she barely has any scenes with cars or knowledge about cars, and she can’t fight either. Basically, her connection with cars is the ML. But the drama version made her capable of fighting, drifting and fixing cars, etc. The scriptwriter already added a lot to make the FL stronger compared to ML. But It doesn’t make sense for an ordinary person to join illegal underground car racing suddenly. The ML’s reason for participating in underground racing is very personal and specific. He’s not doing anything for fun, mostly because his circumstances forced him to.

Seems like it’s now rumored to air in July instead. It’s actually good if it’s around mid July to August cause people will be on breaks and can watch it.

Some people say he looks like Song Kang while others say he looks like some K-pop idols lol 😂 like Shinyu from TWS.

Reborn of the Rightful just wrapped up not too long ago. Period dramas need to undergo editing and pass censorship, etc. It’s definitely gonna be released after BOP, maybe even next year. There will definitely be some changes whenever novels get adapted on screen but it’s a HE for sure.

Well he made the most out of what was given to him. He was chosen by the script writer herself to play this role because his aura and looks fits perfectly. He was the only reason I watched SAL. I think he did well overall. I look forward to his role in Blossoms of Power cause he really loves Xiao Hua Yong.
