they messed up big time by adding a character just to fill up the remaining episodes. They could've done so much but instead they decided to practically rewrite the story and ruining it in the process

It might be true but she never liked Paeng because she took Arthit away from her spear of influence. Arthit started defying her for Paeng and that why she started reacting badly to her. Both Ling and Nang where her top choices because they complied with her whereas Paeng actively defied her authority and made Arthit stand up for himself. Her getting her son married to her choice is more of an issue of having control over her son than making her son happy. Because like she said, he'll eventually be happy like his dad so she's not worried about who he ends up with as long as that person is someone who will be under her spear of influence and not make Arthit act out. her choosing clothes and completely disregarding of Arthit's boundaries when she pressured him into taking Nang out was one such instance
it's like they waited till the last minute to add an additional set of problems rather than resolve the existing one... They could've just focused on the leads instead but no, need drama to keep them apart smh
For a doting mom, she sure doesn't understand her own son. Knowing Arthit, he's not going let go of her that easily.
She's more controlling than doting from the looks of it. She's fine as long as things go her way but the moment Arthit defies her, she goes behind his back to get her back on her track regardless of what Arthit wants
