I saw that part again the other day and it kinda dawned on me : their marriage is a done deal already after he earnestly asked her mom at her resting place to allow him to marry her and then Changge accepted that in front of her mom's place. Considering their unconventional relationship, what they said in front of her mom can be seen as an official solid statement of their union.
