loved everything about it except ending

In the last few episodes, they showed all happy moments then I understood something bad is going to happen in the ending, as expected I didn't like the last two episodes. The last two episodes ruined my overall experience of watching this show, felt like 15hrs that invested in this show went waste. I was too involved in drama throughout, maybe that's why I feel this much disappointment. I absolutely loved all characters, that's why the last two episodes were like hell for me. goshhh i wish I could change that part of the story.

anyways for talking about positives, ML is super cute, the characters that you may dislike in the beginning will make you fall in love with them eventually. people who just watch for entertainment and don't get much involved in the story can enjoy this show as one time watch.

I know no writer or director is going to consider my review but still wanna mention that 90% of the audience like happy endings. for god's sake don't play with audience emotions towards the end of the show. many awesome fantasy dramas keep us involved in the story but breaks our heart towards the end, I know for writers its creative work, and they have their own imagination and understanding of the story and what they want to deliver to the audience but we would appreciate if they keep in mind that we watch dramas/shows for entertainment, so please don't spoil endings for us, just let us leave with a smile of our face after finishing watching it. don't ruin our overall experience with overdramatic endings.

Repetitive story

This story is very repetitive, even some scenes were very similar to other wuxia dramas, it's like they mixed a little from all other dramas and copy pasted here. For example immortal samsara, the journey of Chang zi, Ashes of love etc. therez nothing new so it's very predictable. Mainly cuz in the first episode starting scene they themselves mentioned what's going to happen in next 27 episodes where step by step the guy says how ML ended up killing her and everything, that was stuck in my mind when watching it so it was easy to guess what was going to happen next. Some plots were very unnecessary, just to create drama they showed unwanted things like when the evil girl turned good they killed the guy she was going to marry ( when devil can kill literally kill anyone at that point but they choose the groom 😂)just to make her evil again connecting it to Ayin's torture and death for no reason cuz she was anyways going to die but ML goes to great lengths to save her only to kill her in next 2 episodes 😂😂😂 it's funny cuz ML makes a long plan thinking she won't die with his punishment but she died in hands of ML for very silly reason that he didn't know her immortal spirit was already damaged. There is no strong story here, basically one thing lead to another creating such circumstances, some developments are very random.

I really like Zhao Lusi but why shez acting same as she did in hidden love? Baby voice and everything, I didn't like it. And ML's acting wasn't that bad but he didn't give main lead vibes at all, other male characters were more charming than him.

Another good story with crap ending

The story, acting, costumes everything was good, not perfect but good, enjoyable till last 5 mins, there they give a crappy ending, and boom...you'll feel like you wasted ur time for no reason. lol.

I don't understand why most of these mini-series have a crappy ending. Some don't even have a good story when the overall length of the series is like movie length. people make awesome movies packed with amazing stories, action, comedy, romance and whatnot in just 2hrs so I don't believe if someone says 'u'll get only this much for mini series'. Clearly they have enough time and length for shows but they chose to spoil it for no reason.

Almost perfect

I would have given 10 if there was a little more intense story, then it could have been better. I mean ML suddenly fell for her out of the blue within an episode after he accidentally kissed her forehead and started flirting suddenly. it would have been nice if there were more romantic encounters before he realized that he actually fell for her and started to develop feeling for a girl whom he considered to be his sister (even attended P&T on behave of her original brother) THAT AWKARDNESS IS MISSING!!! and then try to avoid her but finally give in to his feelings for her...something like that would have been nice. other than that there is romance and the story is pretty good but the anime version of this was on another level so my expectations were high. TBH I didn't like the fact that ML's background story is something that almost all typical C dramas and Kdramas have. it would have been nice if at least he was an orphan and that girl who followed him around was a stalker or something like that instead of a debtor who is behaving like a psycho with no self-respect, that was kind of awkward to watch.

Not my cup of tea

*spoiler ahead*

ML keeps sleeping/kissing the younger sister (FL) but keeps proposing to her elder sister no matter how many times she rejected him, (I know FL was under some spell and the cure was MLs breath but ML was totally in his senses every time he kissed/slept with her but pretended like nothing happened and kept mistreating FL by locking her up in cage, jail etc) then he kisses FL right after the FL's sister rejected him one last time and when FL questions him he asks guards to put her in jail and gets angry when ML's brother saved her, then all of sudden he doesn't want to marry the elder sister of FL anymore but wants to marry FL (no clue why) but his mother wants him to marry the elder one so then again he forces the elder one to marry him but behaves like his life is getting ruined lol. Then marriage doesn't take place for some reason so he goes after FL again. Shitty story, am surprised to see that almost everyone liked it, and it's not as funny as everyone claims it to be, it's actually very annoying and has no story and is not even funny to me. and the ending gosh! i better not mention it.

Note:
Many people liked it so you may like it, am just giving my review after watching it, cuz i felt like i wasted time on this so at least my review can be helpful for some. Your opinion may be different just have to keep logic and everything aside, get drunk and watch it for a better experience, you may like it.

what the heck was that? seriously!

This 1.5 rating I gave is for MLs acting, nothing else worth mentioning, not a single thing.

lack of romance is the least concern here, even though 40 episodes without romance i still don't understand how they managed to do this, anyways what am saying is when I realized there isn't gonna be any romance then tried to give myself other reasons to keep watching it till last epi, lol.. but...

1) There is FL and ML but no chemistry between them.
2) They showed that screenwriting thing very seriously, each episode was about some different story that he writes but with the same characters in each story, and every story was hella BORING!
3) I just felt like slapping that so-called brother of ML, can you believe not a single soul told him what hez doing is wrong until the very last episode, and even after that he didn't realize anything, just vomited some water?
4) MLs brother keeps saying harsh things and keeps insulting his junior (who loved him), even uses all her savings to buy a car, and uses MLs salary to pay for his car loan, he drains the whole energy out of ML by overworking him for his own benefits but no one says anything. gosh that was soo frustrating to watch.
5) FL who has her own mental issues helps others to deal with their problems, this concept is kinda off for me, some call this a unique approach and stuff but I didn't like it, because she overcomes her issues in last 10 mins of the last episode so throughout the show she seems like a zombie, and all this mental torture thing turns out to be a misunderstanding at the end when her mother's death isn't her fault blah blah....so damn BORING!

I have LOVE HATE relationship with this drama!

Believe me or not but this drama will keep you hooked till the end. (it's not finished yet but u cant stop watching this once you start)Cuz of the title I was very skeptical about watching this cuz i HATE sad endings and the title itself says LOST YOU FOREVER!! damn! but after watching a few video clips on YT and insta, and seeing how handsome all MLs are I HAD TO WATCH IT!

MLS ARE DAMN HOT!! and each ML has their own journey, you will fall in love with all of them.
FL is of course famous actress, her acting skills are amazing.

XiANG LIU
I kind of hated xiang liu in the 3rd episode, then he acted selfish in many episodes but eventually I fell in love with his character, I never thought a white hair guy can look this sexy..lol. watching their video clips on YT i never thought i can love any other ML in this show this much, cuz this guy has it all to capture the audience's hearts, he is cold, strong, mysterious, sexy, possessive, and whatnot. all episodes are not out yet and i didn't read any novel prior to watching this, so based on the story till now FL never loved him. so i don't think they will end up together, i hate to even say that but yeah can't do anything about it.

CANG XUAN
Then I fell in love with FL's cousin (he is also an ML, some family secret is about to come out) he always loved FL, the way they care about each other and look after each other, their story is really deep as they share sorrows and happiness since childhood and been there for each other whenever they didn't have anyone to rely on. and Cang Xuan is very pitiful cuz he has family yet he is all alone..if that makes any sense, no one other than FL truly cares about him. He is also smart, handsome, and everything, i want them to end up together but then again FL just loves him as a family, not in a romantic way, that's sad again.

JING
His story is also very pitiful and all but he is very timid and shy..never really gave me ML vibes but here the twist is FL FELL FOR HIM....bruhhh!!! i feel like crying. anyways she has her own reasons as he always treated her well and made her feel loved. but he keeps making her wait and cant just end his engagement with the other girl..here all other MLs are dealing with life and death issues but this guy cant end one F**ing engagement in all these episodes. goshh! but yeah she loves him. so ITS HER CHOICE right?

Well, there are 2-3 other males as well who love FL but they arent lead characters.
The ones that i love the most are xiang liu and cang xuan.

Am not really sure if i'll continue watching this cuz the ones that i love arent gonna get happy endings anyways. (won't get to be with the ones they love) but i did enjoy watching these 24 episodes and the upcoming epis will be interesting and entertaining too so you all can enjoy watching it. overall its a good show.

Entertaining

It has everything romance, comedy, suspense, a good story, etc. In the beginning, I was like he knew that she poisoned him but still, he not only spares her life but also makes her his chef, I felt that was stupid but knew something was there that made him do that as he even had her painting with him, that was the suspense factor for me more than finding the person that actually wants to kill him, but that painting thing didn't have much backstory, just that he saw her 'smile' one day and that image was stuck in his mind I guess, I guessed it to have some intense backstory but I was wrong..lol.. anyways overall it was a good entertaining drama.

Hmmm.....nevermind, just read the following!

I want to start off with positive points, yeah it does have few positive things that I wanna mention, lol.
1) first season couple's cameo, loved that scene.
2) I really liked how FL's mom was super rich, strong, pretty and smart all in one..cuz in most of the dramas it's other way round. She was the highlight of this show and all her scenes were super entertaining, I never skipped her scenes. Her acting was pretty good.
3) ML - he is cute, considerate, kind and everything. Acting was good.
4) actors acting was good, those 3 stars are for their acting.

Now negative points. There are many but I will mention only few that made be give only 3 stars.
1) FL- I guess her character was supposed to be cute and innocent cuz of the way she was brought up in mangolia but I found her very annoying. It wasn't cute in anyway her constant smiling for no reason and making faces trying to be cute was very irritating. (Am talking about character not actress)

2) villain is handsome and looked dangerous in the beginning but he was actually very stupid, mentally and emotionally weak not to mention how it ended with him committing suicide. I feel pity for him but for God sake hez a villain and took many innocent lives, distributed drugs etc. here I don't really understand what writer was trying to do cuz his pitiful story and everything made many people actually hate FL for betraying him, leaving them in confusion on whether he really deserved to die or not, and suicide? Really? Left everyone with bitter taste by the end, maybe that's what writers were trying to do but it made villain's character steal the focus from main leads and I didn't really bother about leads cuz villain's character had more depth than leads only cuz of his past lol cuz he isn't that smart there are many points where you feel hez soo dumb, he was played with for more than half of the story. anyways it's really silly how writers tried to make us LOVE AND HATE him at the same time but what really happened was that it made us get annoyed with FL even more for God sake show's title is on FL but her character itself is very annoying. and she did betray him no matter what the 'reason' was everything eventually led him to commit suicide. At least they should have shown him getting arrested or something. There's no going back as his life is anyways ruined cuz of all the wrong decisions he made but committing suicide brought even more sympathy to his character. Like why?

3) story - Gosh!! Didn't like the whole drug shit at all. There was no solid story. Even though its on a sensitive topic (drugs) but story wasn't good at all. I didn't enjoy it.

loved it!

positives:
I enjoyed watching each and every scene, FLs dialogues are soo funny and entertaining. mainly main she slapped dark aura lord i laughed like hell...hahaha that was hilarious. and when ML stabbed her to save his clan i really liked how she took her time to forgive him, and didn't immediately jump into his arms i really liked that, otherwise mostly FLs forgive anything and everything that ML does on the name of love, lol. i know hez not at fault here, he didn't have a choice but just imagine if SML didn't save her on time she would have died, he just took heart protecting scale and left her to die there, not like he did anything to keep her alive till he comes back to save her, just left her on the floor to die.

i liked the way FL even says that 'what u did to me is exactly what suyian did to you' cuz she supported him in everything, tried to make him forget the past and move on, helped him to get his horns and everything, confessed her love, even when everyone in her sect thought she betrayed them cuz she was with him all that while and everyone in his sect/clan also hated her no one really trusted or respected her except her friends, anyways what am saying is i liked the way she took her time to forgive him and also when her master wronged her she stood her ground, was against him, its very rare where FL in dramas use their brain. lol.

negatives:
What i didnt like is the ending, ending could have been better, i mean There were 40 episodes all were bsed on FL and MLs relationship development and them facing challenges together, how can they just end it with him kissing FL as soon as he sees her after those many years, that was not a good close, it elt incomplete.
and also there were not much romantic scenes, FL and ML were a married couple in last 10-15 episodes, still there were only one or two light kissing scenes nothing much, which was disappointing for me.

Very Entertaining

This was surprisingly good. all graphics and everything was very well done. They chose experienced and good actors which made it even more entertaining cuz even scenes between side characters were enjoyable. that suspense factor was there in every episode till the last episode. and ending was very wholesome cuz everyone got a happy ending. I was annoyed with the evil girl but thankfully she didn't get to do much damage.

There are many loopholes, yeah definitely there were times when I felt that this was unnecessary or that didn't make any sense but that happens in almost every drama, nothing major, overall everything was neatly tied by the end. I binge-watched it and didn't feel like I wasted my time cuz it was worth watching.

Beautiful and Enjoyable Love Story

I really enjoyed watching it. I was smiling, giggling and all. mainly ML is really cute, his acting is superb, and his love for her is genuine, In many scenes, I felt like pinching his cheeks LOL.. FL is also nice I liked her character. everything was good, but after 19-20 episodes felt like this didn't need to have 38 episodes because the story is not that complicated. it's just that the characters don't know the conspiracies and who did what but as the audience watching it we already know most of the stuff and we just wait for the characters to know the truth.

There are many chances where they could have avoided/stopped their enemy from doing stuff but they just don't do anything at that time giving them the chance to do more nasty things. for example, Wen Wan, ML always knew what she did (in the beginning) stuff like stabbing herself and blaming it on Ji Man or flogging ji man and her other conspiracies. but as expected ML and FL will forgive and forget whatever these people do very easily.

Anyway, overall it was a really good, enjoyable drama but didn't really need 38 episodes. after 19 episodes even if u skip 15-20 minutes in btw episodes you wont really miss anything. just story gets dragged till 38 episodes.

I really liked it

I was skeptical about watching this after reading many negative reviews. But I gave it a try after watching a few scenes on YT and Insta, Overall I enjoyed watching it.

positives:
- Comedy is its main plus point, 80% of the scenes are very enjoyable.
- Actors did a great job, even the supporting character's acting was really good, so i was able to enjoy all scenes not only main leads scenes. mainly that kid did a great job.
- I don't like tragedy kind of scenes, i usually skip them (cuz our real life is anyways messed up why make it more sad by watching fictional sad scenes..lol) but here even emotional scenes will end up making you laugh cuz they added humor there as well haha..so I didnt have to skip those scenes.
- I really liked how they didnt complicate things after knowing the truth, that went smoothly, I liked it, cuz that was more realistic, both wife and husband hid stuff from each other, they had their own reasons and when both got to know the truth they understood and respected those reasons, unlike other shows where no matter what reason usually leads dont use their brains to put them in their partner's shoes and think about why they had to hide stuff, obviously if your past was dark and it brings nothing good to anyone but can make things worse, especially when you want to start a new life. thats common sense but most people dont understand it, all their think or care about is 'she hid this from me, so she betrayed me, i cant trust her anymore' even though they claim to 'love' them they cant think about their partner's feelings and the reason why they had to take that step, and forget everything he/she did for them and all happy moments and go to 'i hate you' mode for no reason, that pisses me off. but in this show ML never misunderstood her, he always stood by her side and protected her, accepting her past with open arms..I really liked that.

negatives:
- Some episodes were boring, attacking and stuff, cuz this show was more of a comedy and the mystery side was weak even though the past they showed of FL was interesting but it didn't have much impact on the present storyline, of course, her childhood villains did come back trying to threaten her into completing tasks but it wasnt a big thing cuz FL was just one of such people they were after, and just using them to kill few people..and it was like they introduced 3-4 chracters and all were trying to kill each other without the others knowing it..if it made any sense.... anyways, what am saying is this part of the story was kind of weak and boring.

Better than many other ones

I was literally raging with anger in the beginning when they showed FL being thrown out having left her kid behind and on top of that she was pregnant and ML just stood there. I was like 'She shouldn't forgive him no matter what'. I hate such shows where ML wrongs FL and she does everything to prove her innocence then runs back to him at the end, I HATE such stories. I thought this story will be the same but the good thing is that they added a scene according to which he always knew where the FL was and what she and their kids are doing in all these 6 years, they gave the reason saying he can't leave the country due to grandpa's case otherwise he wouldn't have abandoned them blah blah so it was bearable to watch, my anger was cooled down a bit lol.... but my point is why he stood like a statue when she was thrown out of the house and when his mom slapped her and she was accused of having an affair, etc, all that time he did nothing, FL didn't immediately run away from the spot, she was there crying begging them to let her meet her son, calling out ML's name and she slowly walked on street heartbroken. after ages, he comes behind running..I was like 'Why the fu*k did you come now, whats the use?'

lts just those same stories you find on YT where ML wrongs FL but ends up together in the end. but this is ML WHITEWASHED version that's it. this, I was able to watch cuz there was no physical abuse or foul language and kids were cute and the leads are eye candy.

When Life Gives You Second Change, GRAB IT!!

I watched it mainly cuz of its REBIRTH/ TIME TRAVEL concept and cuz am a huge fan of it, Yes this can be a new thing to some people watching it, but to me, it wasn't, there are many..like over 40 short Cdramas (full version) are available on YT and other platforms, that are based on same REBIRTH concept (am calling it rebirth cuz FL dies and then travels back in time so you find these dramas labeled as rebirth Chinese dramas on YT). I LOVE THIS concept as it's very fascinating as life gives a second chance to dumb/innocent/naive FLs who ignore all red flags that their partners give in a relationship, in the name of love. They get a chance to correct their mistakes and to fight back. But some FLs still get bullied and go through shit as they are very soft-hearted..(they are hopeless). well in most of these dramas FL becomes badass and shows no mercy on people who wronged her, that's why I enjoy watching these dramas. They all have pretty much the same story, FL's boyfriend and best friend/stepsister have an affair behind her back, and later they kill FL, ML is someone who had a crush on FL but either got rejected or never expressed his feelings to her, he tries to save her but either ends up dying with her or after punishing people who killed her (su***de)cuz he cant live without her. mostly only FL travels back in time, sometimes even ML goes back in time but that's very rare. Even though the concept is the same I watched over 40 movie-length dramas cuz after traveling back in time FL has a UPPER HAND most of the time as she knows what whats gonna happen and who scheming against her, whom to trust and who not to trust. evil-doers keep worrying about FL's attitude change and they can't wrap their heads around how she knows everything and why she behaving the way she is. and that's SOO MUCH FUN!!

This show had all these things that are expected but as it isn't a short story and had to make 16 long episodes they added a lot of extra but entertaining things like stories of side characters, FL's every emotion is shown clearly like how hurt she was cuz of her best friend's betrayal and they even showed how soo-min handled her family as a wife by continuing to manipulate her husband and mother-in-law. there were some WTF moments like how Min Hwan reacted when he thought Ji Won was pregnant with his child vs how he reacted when he thought Soo-Min was pregnant that difference is very bizarre. I did watch the webtoon but won't comment on it as we still dunno if they gonna show the same thing or not so I better refrain from mentioning my thoughts based on the webtoon. I hope they use better reasoning in the show though, in the last 3 episodes.

I also want to mention that they chose very talented cast members, I like the FL(actor)( watched all her shows), her foodie bestie, and her school crush. oh yeah, how can I forget the most entertaining character of all Park Min Hwan..haha he is a hilarious, Waikiki show guy right? All his roles are entertaining.
