First that I really loved what you wrote, as a person who watches some cdramas, I know more than anyone that asia in general loves to romanticize abusive relationship, I super agree and we need to talk more about this.
But I found it very strange that you put a scene from You Are my Hero, as if the whole dorama is abusive relationship, and it is not. Of course you pointed out this specific scene, but I thought in general, you put it as if it was in every dorama, or a good part of it. I saw this dorama and I can really say that the relationship is healthy yes, that's why I liked it so much. But I really enjoyed the article! Sorry, english is not Mu First language

In the beginning there is the whole harassment problem, but after chapter 6/7 (or thereabouts) the characters are very respectful to each other.

If you want something very relaxing to take your mind off things and get through the first few episodes, you should see this drama.

But I am not talking about the political part and yes, about how they portrayed North Korea. Like it's an extremely but extremely poor country, that's why they don't even have electricity and food and I was like: Huhm, just do a little research on the internet and you know it's not true. So yes, some things may be right about North Korea in Dorama, but to faithfully believe that is worrying. I'm not talking about your particular case, but I've seen a lot of people thinking that North Korea is EXACTLY as they showed it in the dorama, being that it's not.
