To the woke haters on the plot and blaming justification on assault merely due to the ML’s appearance 🙄, first of all that’s just one aspect of it. Because we’re not blind and hello, those abs though 😏. Shout out to the abs btw 👏🏼

Second, the guy has charisma. He’s smoldering, he’s flirty, he’s passionate. His behavior is as if the FL’s existence just consumes him. I mean, that’s hot 😳

Lastly, and most importantly, in the grand tradition of ML/FL roles, we know and guarantee the FL will fall for him. That is the absolute deal breaker right there. Whoever she wants is what the audience usually finds acceptable.

That’s just my opinion. I can’t really speak for the rest. Just know the female brain is complex and can’t be so simply generalized.

Idk, this series has stepped outside the typical cdrama formula in many ways so I think it could be one of those shock value situations. I truly hope I’m wrong though 🥺

Ep 21 - I'm so glad the jelly attempt was short lived and that Tian Yi was obvi still pining. I especially loved that dumbfounded look he gave Ting Yao while she had her wedding gown on. When he said "I'm not your plaything" I was like oh my 🫢😏

Ep. 22 - I loved that he was questioning why she liked him, poor thing 🥺 Him hesitating to reciprocate the hug was a nice touch 👍🏼. Best part was when he confessed he was just mad at her. Love it when the ML has it bad and Tian Yi definitely has it bad 😈

If the hype in China is as big as here, hopefully there will be a second season 🤞🏼

Would be awesome for the roles to be reversed for the leads 😈

Of course the ML will continue to have his shirt off, you know when her family beats the shit out of him over and over 😏
