This episode really shows how shallow LSS knows about romantic love... when she could effortlessly show heartfelt love. But it's hilarious that she goes to PR for help, and sees a live demonstration on her own brother🤣

In all, I wonder why the Fleeting Life Prajna/Bo're Life Dream is often skipped. There's chock-full of foreshadowing and a glimpse of what ADG and the gods really mean in the later dilemma of how to end the All-in-Distress Way. Granted, it isn't as tight as the first 9 episodes, and Tian Huan is endlessly aggravating to watch, but personally, I like this arc.

What I skip often is the Jing Kingdom arc😅 I only live for Foxy Pian Ran and General Ye Qing Yu😂 LSS's feeble attempts to create a love thread (which had already been there in the first place) is amusing, but takes up quite too much screentime ---that should have been given more to the immortal arc.
(Just my opinion anyway.)

The Soul-Slaying Teardrop being a fruit of TTJ's love, which ultimately becomes a weapon that could kill him, kinda doesn't send a good message, eh? Love can kill you and all that? 😅

(I know, I'm losing the philosophical sense I had when I first/second watched this🤣 The essays in the Discussions🤣🤣🤣)

--Ming Ye. So little, soooooo late. If he'd become a demon, what does it matter now? He'd just be like Tian Huan, causing harm on innocents. Thankfully he wasn't as deranged and selfish as TH.
--Sang Jiu.... my poor clam princess. Her sweet voice in the pearl memory is truly enough to turn a villain into a hero.
--"The thought of becoming a devil shouldn't be what I choose." - words that TTJ has lived by till the end (of the moon?)

Everybody wakes up from the dream.. finally.
some thoughts:
--YBC ironically becomes the daughter of the person who tortured her as Mo Nv. There's also the mention of the extra love thread in her, which will later be important. And it's soooo interesting that she shows her true self in front of the ADG, and when they go back to reality, she's all demure and innocent. Excellent portrayal of how two-faced YBC is. Chen Duling, you are missing out on your real calling. 😅🤣

Drop your thoughts for episode 18: The Dream Ends, and Life Goes On

The chasm between them is now clear and unbridgeable. "This is not a transaction. Not everything can be exchanged fairly and equally."
Which is true for SJ. Was loving MY worth her clansmen's lives?

The confrontation between SJ and MY in the forest house is heartbreaking to watch.

Ming Ye now acting on his love for Sang Jiu... much too late. Maybe if he had established that he is someone SJ could rely on --if BOTH OF THEM GOT TO KNOW EACH OTHER-- maybe, just maybe....... but this has been 10k years ago already... the past can't be changed.

No more sweet innocent Sang Jiu... even the Water Calming Stone turned into a razor sharp blade to avenge the clam clan.
...and Ming Ye being away through all of Sang Jiu's pain is sooooo unfair on SJ's part😭

The bamboo forest scenes are again a what if we stayed here for a thousand years kind of moments.

SJ remembering CH's gift.... and being transported immediately to the Ruo River to find MY🥺 girl has a heart of gold.
Good thing he transformed into a small thing otherwise I can't imagine how SJ could drag that inert armored body😅

Sang You almost cooking his brother in law still cracks me up🤣
