This is my fourth rewatch (of the entire thing), and I still react to key scenes the same way as I reacted during the first watch. I also thought I'd feel a lot less since I've watched this waaaay too much (for research purposes) but when I did the rewatch of the whole thing with you guys, all the feels came rushing back again, with some little extras that either I forgot or discovered again... It really was a nice thing to watch with friends.❤️
First watch, their final conversation broke me. On second watch, it is the tomb scene that did it 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Both broke me first, second, third, fourth times.....😭😭😭 The final conversation broke me when LSS finally realized what it takes to destroy the All in Distress Way, that she has to end TTJ's life... at the beginning, I still felt she was hesitant to do it, even if through her goddess powers, she understood what TTJ wanted her to do. But when TTJ started talking about how gods only see humanity as tiny specks in the sand, but that she is different as she is much more human than the gods, that drove the final nail in the coffin. The way she had to kiss him first before lasering him (see ChunTian's influence?🤣) to sort of ease their pain, and her willingness to die with him, but him still saving her.....😭😭😭💔💔💔 The tomb scene broke me when TTJ conjured up the image of LSS, and her saying that he is TTJ, the one she loved... TTJ breaking down before turning into the DG again, and then LSS breaking down while embracing TTJ's tablet....😭😭😭😭💔💔💔

I'm just letting the credits roll on.... My heart still feels heavy even after a year since I first finished watching this drama. All the feelings of regret, of happiness, of love between these two characters, Tantai Jin and Li Susu still linger on even after time has passed. I haven't moved on from this drama, and I don't think I ever will.
Many thanks to all of you Moonies who have joined, one way or another, this rewatch. ❤️It only proves that despite TTJ's fears of his and LSS's story being just a writing in the sand, their love endures on even after a lot of time passes. May our friendships here also be the same as this masterpiece, enduring even as time passes on, and distance separates us. ❤️❤️❤️
