That’s your opinion. I should clarify that if a man was being abused it would be just a heart breaking. As a woman myself who experienced assault on a smaller scale I could relate and I can’t imagine seeing something and not be enraged by it and try to help.

You shouldn’t have to read a book seperately to ‘understand’ a coming of age drama though. It is the responsibility of the writers to present a clear picture.

I thought the same thing, which is why I tried to look out for pictures of friends, cause that would make more sense, but didn't see any, which made it super weird imo. Imagine her brother going to visit and seeing pictures of his best friend with his little sister. I got the ick, ngl.

Fair enough. Although for me, at this point, it's not a major concern. I just can't seem to understand the male lead. In episode 10, he even appears to have a photo of himself with his best friend's little sister, next to a picture of him and his mom at his place. Found that so bizarre. At this point, his intentions and character are unclear to me.
