Exactly! I do the same. Plus, recently people complain over the smallest things. I just replied to a comment on an upcoming drama where I kid you not someone was complaining that the main lead had a western name. These people exhaust me.
The connection between the US and Korea is strong, whether you like it or not. I'm neither Korean nor American but was surprised when I visited Korea by the amount of residents who speak English with an American accent. Not really gonna nitpick over a Western name (not American fyi) because this is not something which is happening in every drama.

I've been on here for years and have watched over 200 dramas so I am speaking based on that. Generally, I find that people who give a low rating go way low. I've hated some dramas, but I don't think I ever rated below 4 stars, because at the end of the day, I always find a few things I like. I've seen dramas being rated 1 star just because they go against their own morality/religious beliefs/actors they dislike, which is dumb, because if people have a problem with Korean culture, they should watch content from their own, but I digress.
Personally though, I am not forcing myself to do anything, but I do like to give things a fair chance, because I respect the amount of work that it takes to produce dramas. :)
lol what happened to the rating. I watched the first 2 episodes when it first aired and thought it wasn't bad.…
Iknow right. 6.9 is brutal, rare to come across that low of a rating for a highly awaited drama with popular actors. Although, sometimes people here lately tend to overexaggerate from what I’ve seen so we’ll just have to see for ourselves. I started this yesterday and so far it’s ok. Slow pace in a small town is a vibe.

KPop Demon Hunters was a global phenomenon, watched by more people than any of the other categories though (not me, cause it's not really my thing). I don't expect a 15 minute speech, but if they're gonna be invited then at least give them the same respect that is given to the others. That's all.
I feel like at this point this happens every time lol. They run strict schedule so they shouldn't be surprised…
Some people are given more time though. I genuinely think it's based on racism of foreign actors/productions and preferential treatment of American counterparts.
