Truee i wanted to like him so bad, but i dont feel like he ever redeemed himself in the novel — she accepted his personality, and in a way he compromised with her at the end. That said i’m guilty of liking this novel too. I hope they make his personality better in the drama t-t

i quite enjoy the drama's slow pace, i think its beautiful and it provides a momentary healing escape in my everyday life, a lovely drama to watch after having watched a full length chinese drama :-)

Is the novel worth reading? I have a special place for Ye Xian in my heart and would be happy to read about his happy ending

Really? I stopped at ep25.. there’s too many twists that I never expected from this drama T-T. Looks like i’m waiting till the last episode airs and binging it..
