The sentence you wrote is incorrect. Your point can't really come across can it, if you don't even know how to write correctly. Please learn to put your point in correct words before you argue with someone. For example- 'instead of' and 'disagreeing to move' is wrong. And I am defending an actor, who is not my fav btw, an actor who did his job as he was told to and does not deserve hate comments.

I know it's too much for you to understand that an actor can't possibly act funny when there is no script to act funny and the director has a direction for him. Yes the plot isn't funny anymore but to say the actor is bad at acting is crazy. Like ao rui peng is one of the best comedy actors currently. If you are watching the drama for ai mi, okay. But stop putting down other actors.

This might be one of the worst cdramas i have watched. And i went in with high expectations because of the rating. Shouldn't have trusted mdl.

The actors were really good, DYX's acting although a bit awkward in the beginning, really picked up to his usually great by the end. Ancy's acting was much improved. She did really good in this drama. But the best was probably WZR, her character truly felt menacing and intimidating at just a glance , she is really good.
Although the camera angles and cuts and lighting too was wierd in the beginning, it got better after some episodes.
The drama although being in usual political scheming and court subgenre, felt refreshing because of the well written female characters. The characters did not reamin monotonous and changed with time, so it was a great watch.

I agree with you so much, this series felt so refreshing because of thecomplex characters and dynamics between each of the women. Even the villainous women were written very well and their dynamic with fu tingyu was amazing.

People will rate any drama without romance poorly. This a comedy fantasy drama and its great. Every drama does not need romance for it to be great. Even some romance dramas with plot holes are rated higher than this. This needs to be higher than 7.8, that's just crazy.

But that's the thing, i wasn't able to finish it because it was bad. I gave it 2 instead of 1 just because of the actors.

Although it was a good drama, i do feel like this is too highly rated at 9.1, it deserves 8.8 at best. Even though the way they showed the plot points required you to think a bit, i liked the plot. It was satisfyingly and beautiful in a heartbreaking way. All the actors were good. Especially wei yan's actor. I loved the lighting and the setting. I love the camerawork. Fight scenes were wayyy too unrealistic tho. Could have expanded the common battle soldier to general arc of the FL. And ML's character could have been a little better written. On the villain's side, the second FL and ML story could have been explored better with more focus on initial meeting rather than big amounts of scenes tormenting the 2nd FL. More emphasis on plot revolving around the dyanamics of how the 2nd ML came into power. That's why i think it doesn't deserve this high of rating despite being a good drama.

I rated this a 2 based upon visuals and visuals solely. There is nothing special about the plot. But the worst thing is the pacing. I have never seen pacing this bad in a drama. Like genuinely it was plot twist after plot twist and then all of it was to achieve the same goal against one single enemy. The ML felt hollow at best and stupid at worst. The villians were underdeveloped and so was the FL. They tried to do episodes worth of charcter development in the first episode. The romantic scenes were placed at the worst time , they seemed so off place. Honestly, both chen duling and zhu yiran are great actors based upon their previous work. But what makes a drama a good drama is the direction and production and screenwriting. All of it was bad in this drama.

Ep 29 and 30 were complete nosedive from a meaningful plot. They are written based upon the so called misunderstanding trope and the trope making something not that big of a deal into obstructing the plot. Here they could have emphasised and lengthened the arc where they win the justice and they could have explored her mental illness into more detail right here[ i.e her martial arts alter ego] but they chose to suddenly make the FL bad at communication after praising her for being eloquent the entire series. Also Ml here is also written so out of character, like she literally cleared his family name, why wouldn't he trust her more than a criminal. This is so stupid and clearly ruins what was a good drama. The emphasis on the main plot point of achieving justice seemed so less and empty. It could have been better with more dramatic editing and a better score.
