Sounds like a premature PR stunt by the CEO.Sure, he wants a second season, but none of the main cast has signed…
though filming was done, it can still be edited and certain parts be omitted to create tension for s2. And this is the part that worries me the most as this will ultimately affect the quality of its ending,
I have not watched recent eps, but seeing so many people say "I don't care about the court cases, only the romance"…
the cases are actually interesting and do serve as a backdrop for young woo's development. To be honest the romance line does not really overshadow the entire show in terms of plot, but rather because it is done so effectively within its limited 'appearances' that it becomes the main conversation.
what I have dreaded is coming...it does not seem like the show will be satisfyingly concluded within 16 episodes with season 2 coming..miss the time when kdramas end in 16 episodes. Multiple season shows hardly retain their original charm and/or effective storytelling.
This drama will not to be everyone's liking but this drama isn't made with younger audiences in mind. And slice-of-life dramas will always be oriented towards more mature audiences :)
Bring me back to the time when dramas didnt need multiple seasons.
please kindly refund my time for episodes 14-16.
Now I'm totally ready to be letdown by the ending
Its Ikjun -Songhwa vs 20 years of friendship
best drama of 2020 thus far - there, I called it.
