I had hope… but was disappointed
I came across this series on Netflix i watched the trailer and it seemed interesting, so i gave it a shot, in the first episodes the story itself started nicely it was a plot that intrigued me, and made me wonder how it would end, even though i saw a lot of bad reviews i decided to give it a shot.
The ending though was truly disappointing, there is no way that after all the years that Sachiko planned her “revenge” she could forgive her just like that, it just doesn’t make sense to me, she killed her family ruined her life and almost killed her too, and she was never truly a friend to her she just toyed with her, and she tried to kill her every chance she had so i really can’t get past it. there are so many things that bothered me especially Makoto, and his final “I love you” to Rena, I do understand that he wasn’t doing very well mentally either, but i feel like it was very out of place in that situation for various reasons.
The acting from the actress that played Rena was really impressive though, and the rest of the cast wasn’t that bad either, i just feel like the writing was a melting pot of different ideas for the same story, every time you’d think it was going in a direction it made a U turn into the worst case scenario.
But i did enjoy watching it before the last episode, i was waiting for a satisfying moment an ending that made it all worth it, but it just felt empty, and definitely not right.
That’s it, i don’t think i would recommend watching this series because the ending is indeed pretty bad.
Safe to say that every one should have their own opinion after all~
