Yes! The friendship is so fun and interesting to watch. I never get bored. And forget about the romance. The friendship is already there which is enough for me. I am more into friendship-centric dramas than romance anyway (like AJTL)... that's what makes me love a drama more. I don't mind the romance at all here tho (like AJTL ofc), I don't feel it to be forced bc we know they knew each other since childhood so ofc the way they act to each other is gonna be different than those who only met like later on in their life.

I agree with you. I felt like in Coroner's Diary, the leads were the only main characters. I dont kmow why they put the 2nd leads as mains esp Yanli who appeared in Ep.16 😭 And it felt like they didnt dive deep into the characters at all whereas here, we are seeing so much from the friend group. They each have their own strengths and they are all unique to one another which I love with each strength helping in the investigation. Its really amazing 👏🏻 Yesha mysery investigation is just so interesting bc its so hard to guess who the villain is and I love how each case they do are connected to one another while Coroner's Diary was only case to case which started getting boring for me if I had to be honest 😭 So this ones really unique and dark which I love

Same here which is why I started getting bored of Coroner's Diary. It was just case to case while for TWD they have sm going on that we have no clue who the killer really is. Its so interesting and makes you curious. A mystery kinda of drama is what I'm looking for. I just love how each main character has their own strengths too that can help the team (and their investigations) which is quite rare to see in dramas if you ask me! Not to mention, it started getting boring when you just know FL in Coroner's diary will be right every time (and never wrong, like you can't ALWAYS be perfect). And will be the only one who can cure those who are ill bc they have nowhere else to go to (instead of facing the fact that you failed... so we don't see FL going through her mistakes bc she's always right idk it just doesn't make sense sorry 😭)

Right????? Shes smart, idk how people find her dumb and annoying. I feel like we aren't watching the same thing. She's not like those very annoying high-pitched voice dumb FLs who makes the worst choices... and what? Shes good at investigating and good at fighting? Idk how people call someone like her annoying. I really get confused about this. Most FLs cant even fight like her so idk how and why she's hated so much 😭🫠

This is just an opinion. I personally love her. I don't find her annoying at all. People just have their own opinions on this. I don't find any character annoying and all the main cast are really fun and interesting to watch, I'm really excited to see this friendship come together slowly. I'm sorry that you feel this way with this character tho as I do see some also mentioning this. I really find her funny and cute but also badass. A plus if you watched LOTDT bc the bickering we saw between Wei Jiu and Ranran got transferred over here (as Kongyun and Xueman) and I LOVE IT!

You should really watch the currently new airing drama 'The Wanted Detective.' It's airing on iQIYI as well. There are some aspects of it that will remind you of MLC a lot and I'm sure you're gonna love it! For instance, one of the guys in the friend group is obsessed with winning against ML who is very smart and ALWAYS loses against him and doesn't want him to die until he does but at the same time it does not look like he wants him to die either just like A'Fei to Xiangyi... that's one of them. Idk if I should tell you about the other bc it is a sad thing... what happens to Xiangyi also happens to ML in 'The Wanted Detective...' it will happen in one of the first episodes. If you watch the trailer you would know what I mean which is one of the reasons why I've been looking forward to this drama. Not just the friendship but some aspects of it reminded me of MLC too! I hope you check it out. So far, it's a 10/10 for me! Oh and btw, ML is very smart in investigating just like our Xiangyi :) Idek who would win if they were together. And ML is also really good in martial arts like Xiangyi!

Chengyi is one of my most fav actors ever! Like 1-3 (idk exactly where but he's there lol) and I cannot wait for his other dramas! The one where he will reunite with our A Fei again ahhhhh!!! And esp looking forward to Fushanhai where he plays two entirely different characters, I CANNOT WAIT!!!

Yes! I love Xiangyi so much! Only thing we hated him doing is not taking the flower when both his friends got him it bc they badly want him to stay alive like why so selfless, at least be selfish for once 😭😭😭 I mean he was so young and we could've seen his martial arts more and explore the martial arts world while he's still young AND healthy, I'm so sad about it ksjdhfkshfkj

Gosh, this is soooo good! I've been looking forward to this drama for months but when I watched the trailers a few months ago, that's when I knew I had to watch it once it airs. Seeing the friendship in the trailer just made me so happy bc I love friendship so much! And wow, the story is so good... already got hooked from the get go! The thrill, the suspense in this drama is just amazing... I am loving this feeling so much! I definitely know I won't like it once it ends (bc I'm gonna miss everyone sooo much!) but I do hope our gang gets their happy ending, they deserve it sm, especially cuz we all know they're gonna go thru soooo much (and the ML poisoning, let's pray our coroner can make an antidote for him before it's too late! 😭🙏🏻)
