Yeah I am aware of that. But Ding Yuxi can dub himself. He's already done it multiple times and he is so good at it. Not sure why they wanna dub over his voice unless maybe its his choice? If not, I wish he was given more chances to dub himself bc he can really do it and his voice is just so beautiful and has its own uniqueness to it that I just genuinely love so much. And I feel like his voice would fit the character more at least imo compared the VA used. Idk it's just my opinion tho. It rlly makes a huge difference when watching cuz I mean I recently just watched Nanyang Mystery and he SLAYED IT! I can hear him slaying it here too. Thank you for reply tho. Ngl I am not a fan of sports but for some reason, I tend to enjoy dramas that are about sports. I love seeing the passion of these people in these dramas. To me, watching them feels uplifting and it's very interesting and fun to watch people chase for their dreams like this. I really like how we are seeing youth growth through it and watching them grow up. It also teaches us to not judge a book by its cover bc we never know what a person is going through for them to act the way they do. It's a really beautiful drama with a beautiful message to it. I really love friendship dramas too which is why this drama means a lot to me too! I was ofc disappointed at some point with the team for not caring about Wen Chengye at all bc he always felt so left out. He was already very lonely bc his parents never doted or supported him so for the team to as well? It makes sense bc of the way he acts but it is sad. I love how in the end they were able to let him in as part of the group and were there for him after learning about what he went through. I love how the adults were always there watching over him bc they really could see there was something inside him that he always kept to himself. It was really nice to see all these in the drama. It was so beautiful. Unlike some people, I didn't start watching this for the romance but for the sports/friendship. There's more to life than just romance. I did like the romance tho but it was not the main focus and I'm glad it wasn't bc the whole meaning of the drama really was beautiful

Edit: became frustrated with how FL became so impulsive to the point that she had to be saved so many times 😭 It was really sad how she just assumed things of Shendu when he only wanted to protect her!

Tbh, I have mixed feelings about the romance. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. Idk... I kinda of have a hard time seeing FL especially bc she liked him for so long but I feel like she doesn't rlly show it that she has those strong feelings for him... or I can't see it enough. I find Shendu liking her harder idk... but cinsidering that she was only 18 when she filmed this, I would consider her talented for her age. I am excited to see what she has in store for us in TRTS!

Never intended to really watch this but bc the leads are coming out with a new drama soon, I decided to give it a try (with very low expectations ofc). And tbh its actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Ofc, this drama feels older than 2024 but I am still liking it more than expected surprisingly! On Ep.7 right now and am enjoying it! Only hate the fact that Ding Yuxi is dubbed 😤 Like man, why dub his beautifully attractive voice all the time???? Anyways, excited to watch the leads again when The Road to Splendor comes out! 🥹 Can tell it's gonna be a more promising one for sure!

Created a video edit after so long! Tbh, it's rare for me to make edits for dramas bc I tend to be lazy but I had to make one for Zhang Haixia for Yuxi's birthday as I have fallen in love with this drama and the characters! Since it's been so long and I wanted to perfect it a lot, it took me many days just to make this video alone. I would like to add that there is a Time Raiders drama as well. Its the very first series of Wuxie and Xiaoge's journey! Mystic Nine is the very first one of the DMBJ universe tho!

Yeah I miss having the complete quartet so bad, I miss them so much 😭😭😭 but still watching haha. So far prefering the dynamics in S1 more :( But I am rlly liking Zhang Xiaoyu who gives off such Lieutenant Zhang vibes so theres that hahaha (ofc I still miss my Zhang Rishan tho, who doesn't 😭😥)

You didnt like Nanyang Mystery? That's sad bc I truly loved that and its become one of my most favorite beloved dramas :( the comedy was for me so I guess that's a big factor to it too. Sad you feel different about it. But yeah ppl have their own opinions in things so I respect it.

Did you watch S1 of Mystic Nine? Tho there are obvious flaws, I really enjoyed it and the dynamics between the characters. If you didn't, you should def give it a try! But like others said, it isnt exactly required. Up to you. Hope you do enjoy S2 tho. I'm enjoying it so far tho I am missing the two from the quartet in S1 which I find missing but it is what it is. But man I am missing my complete quartet (Old Er Ye and Lieutenant Zhang not being there makes me miss them a lot 😭😥) But hey I love seeing Zhang Xiaoyu who looks so similar to the latter hahaha dynamics feel the same with Baye 😅 I only finished watching like a week or two ago so it's still fresh in my mind haha
