I am a huge fan of enemies of lovers tropes in chinese dramas or even just real yearning, passion and chemistry between male and female leads such as First Frost, Lighter and Princess and Rain-kissed Fate. I would love some K-DRAMA recommendations with similar trope if anyone has any? Bonus if its company related too, like you know exes working together in the same company and competing?
The only k-drama I've watched so far is Perfect Crown. Some people have recommended I watched Business Proposal or My Demon. Are those good and any other recommendations?
I 100% agree. Never Ending Summer has been one of the best c=dramas I've watched besides First Frost, L&P, Forever Love and Rainkissed Fate. Zhou Wan matured so much over the 10 years they were separated and she's such a strong female in this drama. I love Lu Xixiao way more though because his emotional maturity and intelligence is so evident despite going through some quite traumatic things like his mum's suicide? his almost death? his sacrifices for the woman who broke his heart? It was amazing how strong he was despite everything which I really, really admire. Daniel Zhou's acting is insane, just look at his eyes when he's pinning her against the window after Zhou Wan provokes him and he gets so mad, there is so much pain and love in his eyes, I had to look away and its just ON-SCREEN. I am very impressed with this drama, the chemistry between these two and the acting are top-notch, even the storyline is pretty well done. Also can we just talk about the scenery in the later episodes? Its so so beautiful. I'm on episode 27, there are only 2 episodes left and I'm trying to savour every single moment. ❤️
