on episode one now, is anyone else annoyed at the old lady? and how the hell isn't she dead already?
me too lol i undestand that's her role but can't help get annoyed π she be like : everyone in this village will die!! 17 years later the people still alive she : everyone in this village will die!!!!
https://youtu.be/rnyBET_A0ps Here if anyone want to watch the real korean documentary between top and bottom rank students in male high school that inspired Our Beloved Summer. Btw the real bottom rank student acts like Choi Woong lol and actually really good at drawing. They bicker a lot too but the bromance is strong π
After seeing the preview of episode 6 i really do think Yeonsu is imagining her grandma. Whenever yeonsu is having…
I have watched "Secret" as it was my first taiwan movie. Female lead existed but she came from the past timeline. The male lead gave up his present to be with her by time travelling. It is the best classic romance movie ever, you must watch it!
she apologized when they were sitting in the bar. the scene in preview ( where woong walked past her ) didn't…
oh i see, actually it is perfectly normal for editor to cut scenes from teaser or preview, either to not spoil the episode or keep the plot they want to maintain. im sure it is the best decision for us on their part ;)
Loving how they write the 4 main leads like a set of seasons.
Choi Woong is summer and Yeonsoo is winter. Both leads are a really contrast and different person with a strong similiar traits. Choi Woong is like a warm memories for Yeonsoo and she is like a chrismast gift for him. Jiwoong is fall by his complexity of emotions. While NJ is spring represents exciting beginning. βοΈπβοΈπΈ
They put so many details in this drama. From counting dating days, the exact date, voice over, episode title, the prequel manhwa and more. I can see the writer and the staff prepare this simple yet complicated story thoroughly. Btw I am excited as we will get 4 of them meet each other in one place tomorrow π
did i skip or something while watching ep 5, on the last preview in episode 4 yeon so apologies to choi woong…
she apologized when they were sitting in the bar. the scene in preview ( where woong walked past her ) didn't make it to final cut and they often do this.
2 ep in and this totally exceed my expectation! i look forward more in the thrilling mystery part than the romance, watching the plot there will be many things to reveal! so excited for next week ππΌ
I watched two first episodes out of curosity as I was aware of the ongoing controversies and I have to admit I'm…
Thanks for sharing your opinion in respectful way!
As someone asked perspective from people who lived through the era. I want to share my experience. My country also went to similiar event in 90s. Democratic movement to fight corrupt goverment. It was a horror tragedy, people got kidnapped, tortured, and died. It was traumatic event for a lot of people. The government even also published a fake video for people to watch to hide the truth behind the massacree.
Did I live through that? No, I was born in the same year of the tragedy. But in 2019, when I was a university student. The history repeated. Students made a mass protests against the government this time to change law. It wasn't as horrific as the 90s riot. The event went peaceful at first, but suddenly the police went firing tear and gas cannons. They accused the students for being anarchist. When actually it was their side who started the fire. Some students went into hiding in the neighborhood and some got kidnapped ( again ). Keep in mind 2019 was already a modern era, so things got exposed and revealed more quickly than in the past.
To put things into perspective of this drama. I also wouldn't want my country to make romantic story about perpetrator "spy" student ( when in fact, there was none ) and the student activist while showing how 'cool' the police doing their job by the books. Especially when the past government made a whole propaganda video before.
I have watched Snowdrop and admired the effort staff have put into it. Though I could understand korean side a lot and their reasons are valid.
