truly love this series, my only complaint is probably QiQi..
i can't like her as a person at all even after knowing her story. she literally is gone the entire high school years and after she is back, the only stuff she talks about with Huan Er is just still Song Cong. i don't see them as true friends at all knowing her first intention, in comparison Du Man and Xinyan with Huan Er has more natural and pleasant moment together. It is stressing to watch Huan Er on tiptoe around QiQi. guess i can't have much empathy towards rich spoiled girl lol
Nothing has changed in college, I don't see her having characters growth. + If she breaks up w Song Cong, yeap we will be back to trio as she makes everything awkward again.
They should have simply stuck to the novel. I don't see the point of adding that character whatsoever. Honestly…
some user yesterday said, Mu Chengyun and Xiang Lang's actor company ( wajijiwa ) co-produced this drama, so they probably insert more of their screentime to push them.
the main characters are truly flawed ( and i understand that is good as it fits into the lookism narrative ). though, i can't help but still getting frustrated watching fl's insecurity ( oh gosh, that is part of her journey ), especially when she doesn't even dress up for interview ( marketing place in beauty company at that ).. what do you expect girl? if you put at least 10% of effort, i would understand why you get mad.
for the ml.. he doesn't interest me, i hate his personalities, but he is such a perfect example of how society acts differently towards appearance. yeah, he will change and develop as better character to see people from the inside, but i hate him now so what. it breaks me too when he misunderstand suchengcheng as a bully just because of her look and strong body....
