i don't think she will went that far because she didn't intentionally stole pi o's book on purpose, she saw pi o's note inside pi o book and want to read more, like a student cheating. the most probability is pi o's mom that will do anything to clear path for pi o or rather her own career and future is place on pi o's shoulder.

pi o has got what's his dream or goal although he is very in deep slump or deep sadness for losing jeong yo, what I want to know is what's actually pi o feeling toward jeong yo, is it because of guilt or something else like jeong yo is finally being acknowledged as his good friend, someone that he really cherish instead of having easily let go because of other things

also I think jeong yo deserve his own happiness, instead of being ignored again by people that he is trying to protect even with his life example his fake father. he only has sad memories from his childhood.

still when pi o over stressing his family problem, he change 180 degrees, jeong yo have better sense in taking care of others. jeong yo has his own problem, but most of the time he tried to look for solution himself without involving pi o. pi o emotion is very unstable instead of understanding others position, he can only look how his condition. I think that is normal for teenager that grow up with unhealthy surroundings and with no one can help him with his pressure. while jeong yo is too mature for his own age, possibly because he is being forced to live mature ever since from childhood because he has no one, he only yearn for connection or relationship with other just like how he take care his actually not his father. well, in turn he only got hate from his fake father. jeong yo always taking care one sidedly other despite he is not receiving the same response, that's why I think that's how he can handle pi o, even if pi o sometimes good and sometime ignore him and in ep 5 , pi o has almost crossed the line toward jeong yo.
pi o is not a bad kid even under the villain mother, ignorant grandpa that don't care about his existence. his basic personality is actually kind and soft hearted but his family is the one twisted him. I think after ep 6 where he achieved everything that his mom forced him to, and how he looked at his mother that keep smiling, he might be feeling something empty, even all the achievement he achieved is like nothing for him. his mind only occupied by jeong yo for 9 years. every time he played piano, it remind of jeong yo for him.
I don't know how to analyse this, if jeong yo is just normal friend, he can live like normal people and moved on with guilty feeling while hiding everything inside him, like everyone moving on and forget about jeong yo like jae in and their private music teacher. but the truth, we have been shown that pi o cannot have normal live, his mind all these 9 years is to search for jeong yo. what's jeong yo existence mean for him. I am curious about it too.

that's right too. it could be because of the guilt but at the same time the kindness show by jeong yo toward pi o is something that pi o never thought to receive from others, people are generally selfish when it is about competition and recognition but jeong yo treated pi o as a friend and much more important than piano, competition and recognition.
the fl is not in the wrong too, because she already stayed beside pi o all her times.
one friend sacrifice his life, future and music for pi o, one girl sacrifice her time for pi o. pi o might be not blessed to grow up in a messed up family but he surely is blessed to have both friends will do anything for him except the girl is asking for love while the friend never ask him anything and only want pi o to be happy. got a super good friend like jeong yo and knowing he might the reason of why jeong yo died, might be will be his shadow forever if jeong yo really died.
I wish jeong yo got his own happiness too and not just punching bag for pi o when pi o cannot control his own emotion due to his family pressure like from his mother and grandpa.
I hope this time pi o can cherish jeong yo as a friend and this time not music, or his mother wish or his grandpa recognition or others recognition is much more important than jeong yo as a friend.
for fl, I wish she just can let go the obsession she has with pi o, she deserves better man that can cherish her, and pi o that too focus on himself won't be able to take care of her. most of the times, it is also jeong yo that take care of pi o when pi o emotion unstable during their short six month times schooling together.

as for the romance, I guess, the fl has been beside male lead for about twenty years, from kid to teenager and now to adults. the fl has been loyal and always stay beside male lead. but how should I put it, she has special place in male lead's life but I think male lead treated her more like family like sister and never a lover. while male lead obsession toward the friend that everyone thought have died is so big, after all that friend opened a new world for him that have been so dark because of his mother only projected repression toward male lead all his lives. he found joy in music because the other friend has free personality, beautiful soul in his music, kind and trying to protect male lead through and through. he never put music rivalry over male lead or the success of career or etc, he only play music because he loves and enjoys music, something that so shining for male lead and he is a true friend for male lead despite male lead that has some trouble over his mental pressure cause of his family especially fr his mother.

ok this is fire, this drama is masterpiece so far from 6 episode, I hope the rest episodes are as good as the first 6 episode or way better. regardless how the relationship between the three main characters, we cannot deny the chemistry between two male lead. I love troupe of three times of lives romance in peach blossom fr Chinese drama but I never expected a similar troupe will be used in kdrama, a deep yearning by male lead of searching and cannot accept the other have died, but turn out the other haven't died and have restarted a new life. fate brought them back together again. hehe

yea, it is the trend now rich character that in the past used to be in charge as a villain in drama or novel being peeled, they are much more complex and have in depth like I want to watch Malfoy as main character as male lead cause he is not really bad guy, his family circumstances is just complicated, the pressure from his father and being Slytherin.
as for Choi jeong, I also don't like loan shark story. but if it is about tragic, Choi jeong is more tragic cause life need money and even dead also need money. everything is about money in real world before having luxury to worry about hobby etc.

I hope so, I plan to wait this finish to watch but I have nothing beside the early spring, and I tried to rewatch wu Xie or a league of nobleman both are bromance drama that I finished sometimes ago.
I think if I don't watch this drama now I will be devastated if the ending is bad. I love bromance and friendship story and I hope this one of the rare friendship kdrama that not focus on romance to not end in bad ending. 🙏 I wish pi o and young Jo's friendship can stand the cruel adult worlds. the ep1 spoiler definitely devastated me how young jo being kidnapped and shot by foreigner and no one seem to be looking for him, every character were in the concerts.

I felt people hating on young jo instead of pi o from the comments below. got scratching here and there, some comments ship or feel the connection between pi o and young jo is special, I only hope it is not doomed friendship.
wanna wait till this end to watch, but have nothing to watch beside the early spring. I know kdrama usually have plot twist gripping the viewers to wait and watch 2 ep per week. I am considering it to finish to watch but if this has bad ending, I won't be able to touch it later, but watching while reading comments here feel so many depressed comments and almost like pi o vs young jo characters fanwar. who is more pitiful 😅. for me it is young jo, because I know money is real life necessity, having one own parent that at a least can support the material is important and while pi o getting roasted with egoistic adults pressures, the other young jo got abandoned by his only family, father chased by loan shark.
if compare which one is much more scarier situation it is young jo, but I can understand pi o, he is like a child trying his hard to get recognition from his surrounding mother, grandpa and it is so painful to have another person can get it when he already tried his whole life from childhood.
both are not easy but with ep 1 spoiler, I got more uneasy with young Jo's situation like pi o has his mother that will protect him while young jo has none.
ps. since kdrama keep changing or having plot twist, this is only view or commentary for ep1 and rest I connected it with comments below which I don't agree with young Jo's situation is easier, because I think it is no easy at all if it is in real life and I think it is as easy as sand castle collapse if there is no one that truly will protect him in that cruel world where people will destroy talent because of jealousy or other unfortunate background like his.

his character background is the usual shounen type enemy change to friend and also the opposite friend change to enemy like you know sasuke of Naruto, Malfoy of Harry potter, etc. the inferiority complex despite they are actually viewed as overwhelming character by the others but not enough when main character have hidden talent or grab their shining spot.
how could I know whole context when kdrama usually have plot twist and they only aired 2 ep per week.
although I just watch ep1, it is definitely kind of change from typical or changing the usual main troupe of protagonist's background or personality, or watching from the other PoV like u know kind of transmigrated as villain or trend reincarnated as villain type story.

I just watched the first episode and I feel tension toward Choi young jo 's life, he is an artist, but he kept getting chased by loan shark because of his father and from the opening of episode first spoiler of six months in future where he got shot and cannot appeared in that concert where pi o's hands felt like blood playing on the piano on that concert where everyone seems got touched with his playing meaning he succeeds in getting what an emotional piano. no one sympathize with Choi young jo?? just from first episode I feel like Choi young jo is replaceable person because he has no one that will protect him.
it is interesting that pi o is the main lead because from the first ep, pi O feel like the villain or what usual strong character that used to motivated the main character, like Hikaru no go or some other shounen type like non focus to romance but have theme like rivalry in sports.
it is interesting that we got like POV of the character that feel inferiority complex to another character seems like it is the trend now like ELSA, like how viewer trying to understand how the POV of other villain or their circumstances.

honestly it is really very enjoyable watching the humour between the heavenly king, the butterfly demon and with fake girl young dragon ao yi. I laughed so much, so sad the story is changing the little dragon suddenly caring for senior sister that appear suddenly. I cannot feel the empathy at all, it is too abrupt. also sad the little dragon that should have grown so strong become weak again because .... chang sou 😭. when chang sou will show his true power, he keep hiding

the little dragon story is changing a little abrupt. changshou, what have you done to the cute little dragon 🥲, the little dragon already perfect with how he can beat his older brother now changed to zero....

Chinese drama places for filming is very limited. I see a place that has been used dozen or more times everytime for Chinese historical genre.
