I saw a lot of people complaining that it's a common revenge story, but I assure you, when Chen Duling picks a script with a revenge plot, she's not like the typical FLs. The characters she chooses ACTUALLY takes revenge on whoever wronged them, doesn't choose love over the original goal and use everyone to get what they want, and her main genre isn't romance although she effortlessly has chemistry with both men and women. So don't worry, you will see a ruthless character, not a 'strong FL' in name only like every other C-drama out there. Watch her series, The Glory, which was a huge hit in China last year (despite the low budget it made more than a billion views in little time), and you will understand what I mean.
