Can anyone provide a good English-subtitled version of this drama? YouTube's versions are either incomplete or poorly subbed. =\ I hear so many good things about it, but I'm currently unable to watch it. =\
In a way this could be partly solved by allowing the celebs to openly date, and marry, and not pretend to stay…
Oh, my! I didn't know they have to pretend to be single, althought I've observed many of them really appear to be. Liu Yuning, Gao Weiguang, Zhang Linghe etc. I just can't believe they're obliged to it. Could you, please, tell me more about it?
Thanks! But: 1. The Legend of Xiao Chuo does have a lot to do with the Later Jin dynasty. It starts with Yan Yan…
Exactly! I also indicate the past dynasties on the flashbacks of every drama I watch. That's one of the reasons the list is constantly under construction. =D No, no. I also include other dynasties that mingled with the Chinese overtime. No worries. I appreciate your care. =) Yeah, these Nanzhao dramas are included as well. *0* Oh, that explains it... I'm sorry for that. I hope some more dignity meets your ancestors' representation in Chinese dramas... =/
Good list. Here are some corrections:1. "The Legend of Xiao Chuo" has nothing to do with Later Jin. It…
Thanks! But: 1. The Legend of Xiao Chuo does have a lot to do with the Later Jin dynasty. It starts with Yan Yan at the year she dies 1009, then it goes back to the past when Emperor Shizong dies, which is 951, and then it advances 18 years into the future, that is, 969, when Yan Yan is 16. Later Jin was annexed into Liao dynasty just a few years before, whose scene from the epoch appears in one of the first episodes (I've already watched it); 2. Both the Tang and the Nanzhao kingdoms they show are fake, after all the past reality is unattainable, it can only be represented nowadays. Also, I've observed they often use different characters when not meaning the historical ones. But then fantasy dramas are always tricky and they usually mess these associations up...; and 3. Thanks! You keen eye helped me find a drama I'd already added into the fictional list, but forgotten to remove from this one. The list is under constant revision, so I appreciate your help! Thanks a whole lot!! ^^
On youtube under the name the mu saga. Unfortunately it seems to be missing the first episode.
Thank you!! I've seen it last January, almost a year ago. For those interested in watching it, I've put the link in this list of mine: https://mydramalist.com/list/LQJXeaG3?page=3
