OMG people must really love this style of cdramas. They feel like seen one, seen all. They are all the same to me. Same wardrobe, same stylist, same female squeaky voice and same male soft demeanor. All flying around like piñatas. Don't get it, and i don't understand my dislike since i LOVE piñatas 😜☺️ Really silly reality tbh.

The only one who is crazy is you. Her grandpa did something fucked up. She publicly praised him. People found…
But now that she knows she has the responsability to address it. Becuase she is a public figure by choice and she also chose to talk/boast about her family lineage. She either was truly not aware of this part of her family or she simply understimated internet sleuths. There's always curious people with lots of time on their hands. In this case i think that it usn't a case of internet bully, but people asking for accountability or basic acknowledgement of a country's recent history. I'm glad she came around it. I believe that she will continue to strive as an actress. She's young and very talented.

Well, if you praise publicly the wrong doing of your serial killer family member then if there's backlash It will also be well deserved. Unless you didn't know. In this particurlaly case is very different and yet the same analogy. It's about a very sensitive part of the country's history. So i undestand the outrage and her very expected apology for her ignorance. Perhaps in her family she has been shelttered from this part of her family. So it is a learning experience for her as she moves forward with her career

The story is meh, Ha Young is fantastic, not just beautiful, but a great actress. She was so on point at all times. So committed to all the crazy scenarios. Loved her in Doona and she did not disappoint here. Looking forward to seeing her future works. In terms of Jung Hae In, he was just too boring to look at. He is good in story driven dramas like One spring Night and Something in the Rain. Every other drama where he has been he hasn’t been good in. He just stands there looking dandy while everyone else is busting their ass off. He is sooo lucky to get casted with very talented actresses.
While watching this series I kept on thinking how it would’ve been if it was a different actor playing the ML, I’m sure it could’ve been crazy good. Jung Hae In was just not believable as a small town boxer mafia man in love.

I don't understand why SIG choose this role and why two times in a row? (boyfriend on demand) Has he lost interest…
I agree. He must be getting paid quite well to do these dramas because that's the only logical explanation

You totally missed the point i think. She smoked because she was lost, heartbroken and lonely

Unpopular opinion: I actually loved the endinggg!!I honestly think it fits the drama’s aesthetic perfectly.…
I’m of the same opinion. But regardless of main leads ending up together or not, the focus of the story is that by dating they were able to influence each other’s lives in a very positive way. She was stuck in a very destructive toxic relationship with her groomer. I wouldn’t even call it a love relationship, she was an industry product that malfunctioned and was put to rest in hopes that it would repair itself and go back to normal. The ML, on the other hand, was also stuck emotionally as well, troubled by guilt, lack of self worth and insecurities. I think that the ending was very fitting for the story, they helped each other and were able to carry on with their lives

they end up together tho
I agree the ending was done so that we could give it the meaning that we please.
For me, they didn’t end up together. They had a very healing relationship. He got over his first love (he was stuck emotionally for years and was unable to mature properly) and she was a total wreck as well (stuck in a toxic relationship, i would even go as far as to say that she was groomed, it was not a very balanced relationship from the get go, the guy always had the upper hand in all aspects of her life). Because of this relationship, Doona and Lee Won Jun were able to break that spell that they were for so long and move on. She was able to continue with her career in a more healthy way (I’m the boss) and he was able to continue his life and pursue his career without thinking about that girl that that had all kinds of family trauma and issues. In my book that’s a happy ending, being content and functional to go about your day without feeling heavy. That ending, in my opinion, showed that they had become their own person.
