It might just be me, but i find myself as confused as some of the characters. I do believe that if the differences were less subtle i would like it more. But that's just me. Have you seen The Crowned Clown? There the changes were subtle and yet more efective than here...
I’m really enjoying this series. At first, I didn’t think I was going to like the fantasy aspect of it, but I’m digging it. Love the fact that two very different spirts are sharing the same body and we get to see the internal struggle. So far, I’m enjoying the direction the story is taking. My only complaint is perhaps that it isn’t clear when each spirit is taking over the body. I find it hard to tell them apart by their demeanor, unless we are told.
The Crowned Clown comes to mind, although that is a very different series and I don’t want to compare them because they are nothing alike, but what they do have in common is that they both have one actor playing two different characters, each with very different personalities and traits. What I appreciated from The Crowned Clown is that Yeo Jin Goo makes it really clear when he is playing one or the other character and it is even more clear when one character is impersonating the other. Quite complex situations, but that’s, precisely, what this series is missing in my opinion. The fact that either the actor or the director is not making those distinctions clear bothers me a bit. But no matter what, I’m still invested in the story, find it interesting and will continue to watch ;)

I agree, all that forehead hitting is a bit off putting for an otherwise great kdrama. Maybe in SK getting hit on the forehead by the person you like is considered attractive. I know that if the person I like did that to me that would probably be the end of my crush. I would run away as far as I possibly could.
Just beautiful!!! Everything about this drama is just soooo beautiful. It is weird but now there are a few dramas worth watching simultaneously. What a treat!!!
I’m surprised that I’m actually really, REALLY, enjoying this drama. It is a bit melodramatic at times, but done in a very fun way. I admit that my expectations were quite low since PMY’s choice of dramas lately haven’t been right for her. Also I don’t understand the comments about the ML not being handsome or whatever. I’ll speak for myself, I don’t like this series and if I'm commenting it is simply because I am a huge fan of its predecessor. So that's the reason why I watched these 4 episodes, NOT because the series is good or that it is sooo bad that it has become my guilty pleasure, no nothing of that sort, not even close. It's not good enough or bad enough for me to continue watching. It is just a dumb generic series. Very boring! I really wanted to like it hoping that it would find its own style, but after 4 episodes it is clear that it is a drop for me.

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul are the fine examples that you can have a spin off and give its own atmosphere and dept. In Better Call Saul the style of cinematography, the humor, the mood are completely different from Breaking Bad. You can’t even compare them to one another, because they are nothing alike. On the other hand these two Strong Woman series are the fine example of what you shouldn’t do with a spin off…. Trying to replicate the same humor and style of the previous series will just not cut it. A big no no in my book

I’m one of those people that have not been impressed with this spin off and it wasn’t because I was expecting it to be a follow up to the previous series. Not at all indeed. I believe that this one is dumb, everything about it is dumb down. The previous had a stronger story line, more well developed characters and the dark humor and quirkiness of the characters throughout. If I judge this one alone without taking in consideration the previous series it is still not a good series. They are trying to be funny for the sake of being funny when the situations aren’t really, so that makes it quite cringey and quite difficult to continue watching.

I gave it a try because of the ML. He was quite good in the Red Sleeve, but this just goes to show that the Red Sleeve had a great director and a good story. In this series he just looks stupid constantly posing for the camera as if it is a perfume comercial, and to be honest i find perfume adds quite silly, not my cup of tea for sure. And don't get me started with the FL SHE'S pretty, but a terrible actress....
