I dont hate prapai/ sky couple, but for me, they are not tnat interesting. I prefer payu/ rain more. I guess its just individual taste.

I can go like a whole week without watching their episodes unlike when payu/ rain episodes were airing, I always watched it that SAME day episodes came out.

I think he is pretending to compete with Tatch when in reality, he intends for Tatch to actually win because be feels that Tatch would make a better ambassador for their faculty. Even though he is planning on losing, he just doesnt want to make it that obvious and he is hiding the whole plan from Tatch.

Yeah, the subtitles makes it hard to grasp what's going on but you gotta pay a lot of attention to get it. Lol

He is the royal physician. It makes sense that he was conducting physical check ups on consorts since they are part of the royal household. Him giving her a medical checkup does not mean she was pregnant at that time. She might have been sick with some other illness or he might have been doing general check up on her. It was never indicated to us that she was pregnant and that's why he was examining her.

What is indeed clear is that he slept with her and her affair POSSSIBLY resulted in her giving birth to Ui Sung ( its not 100% confirmed right now but further down the line, we viewers would know for sure ) 😉

Also, people RISK THEIR WHOLE lives over stupid things. A guy in Texas ( United States) killed his wife and kids simply because he wanted to be with his mistress. It doesn't make sense but it happens.

The king is kinda weak. To be honest, I think his mom, queen dowager has more power than him so he really cant stop her.

How do you know she was already pregnant before her affair with the physician? Timelines in regards to their relationship was never made clear. But its been insinuated/ hinted that her affair resulted in Ui sung.

Prince Ui Sung sure as hell isnt the king's son. What a twist in the storyline that was! That's the main reason why the physician is staying strong and not confessing to anything since that would put consort Hwang and most likely her son in danger. All along he has been protecting his son ......tsk, tsk.

This is one of my top dramas at the moment. I loved it so much that even though I don't like historical dramas that much, I went looking for something similar and finished watching another historical drama called alchemy of souls :)

I am so disappointed in the physician. I thought he had the queen's back all the way. Had no idea he had other ulterior reasons for keeping quiet.

How can the queen dowager who has such a SMALL BODY frame have so MUCH EVIL in her. I almost laughed when she had to tiptoe to meet the queen's height when she was threatening to expose the queen for meeting with former desposed queen during the next day's interrogation.

Prince Ui sung is a little whiny bit$h. I am always so glad that prince Sung Nam always gives him the beating that he deserves every now and then.

I guess the piercing of the needle to one's skin is how both ex dead crown Princes developed that blood disease and now they are trying to do it to the little boy. SMH

You are getting confused there. The concubines were not refering to the current crown prince and current queen. Instead, the concubines were asking how the current king became the crown prince when his mother ( current queen dowager ) was never a queen.

The other concubines then answered that the current king became the crown prince through the selection process called " taekhyeon" where the smartest prince is chosen as the crown prince.

It saddens me when people ( the ex desposed queen and the village doctor ) said that it was karma that the queen's son ( crown prince ) was facing the same fate as the ex royal family. If it were TRULY KARMA, it would be THE KING falling ill and dying since it was THE KING and his mother ( QUEEN DOWAGER ) who over threw the previous royal family.

At the end of the day, no matter who takes over the throne from the current king, it would still be ONE OF THE KING'S SONS so it really isn't karma unless the king himself suffers or gets his throne usurped from him.
