I believe i didnt have to bc i wasnt trying to review anything. I simply wanted to leave a comment ab my first impressions and how i felt going through the 1st episode rather than specifically analyse it. But i wasnt intending to offer negative feedback either, especially considering that only one episode has been released so far. I apologize if my comment came across that way. Im still planning to give it another chance too since i love the actors and i completely understand if the pacing feels somewhat slow at this stage, given that there are 14 eps in total. I just hope that the later episodes will pick up as it progresses.

I dropped the first episode once and then i picked it up again and after ab 15 more minutes in i couldnt bear too many things going on with their jobs and stuff at the same time so i looked up at the timestamp and realized there were 20mins left before it ended hence i dropped it again lol quite a struggle but i really love both the actors so i hope the future episodes get better

The og is far better but this was a pretty decent watch to me

6 eps in and the first thing that came to my mind was how well hayoung is carrying her role as the FL. Her acting has been so outstanding and even her emotional scenes, especially crying ones felt so genuine and convincing but it seems like the folks out here noticed otherwise its unfortunate :,D

im also 12 eps in and it hurts to realize im into the 2nd couple extremely more despite the limited screen time they have💔

She had spent almost her entire life wanting nothing more than to live like an ordinary person. Was it really wrong for her to finally accept the life shed always longed for when she was offered just that? She literally never signed up for any of this and u know the whole reason she ran away to the island in the first place was because she wanted nothing more to do with murthehelp or even worse, babylon.

If he truly wanted everything to remain normal and avoid all the chaos, then the best course of action wouldvebeen not to involve himself in any illegal activities aboard that ship under the guise of helping some freak smuggle contraband that he knew was illegal. Otherwise, none of this wouldve escalated to the point the china branch started coming after her and at last, all of them

Matter of fact she tried not to get him involved in her life ALL THE TIME and she didnt even feel bother to feel like she belonged on that island or within its community. She kept her distance most of the time and he kept insisting it was okay for her to have someone to rely on yada yada and promised her something that goes like he would take care of her no matter the cost and even the aunties gave her the space she needed and constantly urged her to accept their love and she eventually just embraced it. She hadn’t even had the slightest of chance to enter their lives and they were the ones who welcomed her in with open arms. And on top of that im positive that he was fully aware of the risks he would have to bear if he chose to not turn a blind eye and pretend he hadnt seen the ship approaching, including all the consequences it could have for all the aunties he was responsible to take care of. And while he understood exactly what was at stake and the implications, he remained following his own convictions and made that choice knowing full well what it could cost him🤷🏻‍♀️ i mean i get why u think it was her fault but nonetheless giving her all the credit for what happened would’ve been a bit much

The love between the two was clearly mutual and upon acknowledging her true identity she had allowed him to get away and free himself from her but he was the one who chose to return when he could’ve just played dumb and saved himself. He had his options and he chose her

Girly pop are we just casually forgetting the fact that she lost her parents and her supposedly normal life but never once did she ever blame jinman for it 🤧If i were her that’d be very overwhelming for me too considering how she had chose to run from him and his past in the first place but never made it to entirely free herself from babylon bs

Hot take but all the osts theyve put throughout 4 eps so far have been genuinely peak

I think she was abused way before she became an influencer and a bad bit*h. also to think of the power, frame and even connection the teacher had it couldve been impossible for her to beat him

So ju yeon too did a really great job tho

His acting has definitely improved in this

I watched all 3 seasons and my favs go from 3>2>1 btw not a single season was boring but season 3 is the most special one to me out of all
