Someone please tell me if I did well replying back to this person by stating that he was wrong and defending this drama.. I am embarrassed after reading what I just typed.. Was I too emotional? huhu

I only watched upto EP 46 but I still believe he was wrong. Period.

"This episode seems like it's an episode about silly men. The emperor is just stupid I don't even think the empress ever loved him she just used him because she's a crazy person. What exactly has the main Male Lead been doing in heaven like just hanging out and trying to pretend like he's not in love with the woman that he's in love with. This was his big plan.
He's completely blinded to what's actually going on. Wasn't he behaving like a fool to protect her like rejecting her child, humiliating her, marrying an evil woman. Not protecting his son( when a crazy person hit him) breaking her heart into a million pieces over and over again, I'm supposed to feel moved that he pretended to be her friend to see his son. How weak is that, but he allowed the crazy Empress to get so much power that she's actually going to try to kill his beloved (supposedly) and his child really.
Is he really this Clueless, Isn’t he a God. I just hope the main Female is ready to fight this evil woman and protect her beautiful son. He's kind of a weak male lead, very disappointing .At the beginning, This story is giving me of Vibes of like the eternal love 10 miles of peach blossoms and the pillow book but those men were so much smarter than this man. All he does is cry. Did he forget the emperor's daughter is a crazy person that's obsessed with him.
Is He really this love sick and foolish. He’s not paying attention to anything that they're doing at all, I'm scared to watch the end of this show. The Plot is definitely about a woman having stupid men to failing to protect her and hopefully she will protect herself and her son. Why would you work so hard to bring someone back to life, treat them like crap and then you can't even protect them in the end anyway they have to protect themselves. Wow. I actually am okay with them not being together and I don't think I've ever said that I love happy endings but he is mis-guided and I think that she can do much better than him. She only asked him to do one thing: take care of all the Realms. He allowed them to go into complete chaos trying to bring her back to life, he let the useless Emperor rule over everything and then his grand plan was to break her heart with his child. I think she was better off dead. They definitely need to do some redeeming of his character."

Dude, did you already forget he only regained 40% of his powers, ever since he absorbed Qing Mu in EP 38 and was just acting this whole time?!! He let Wu Huan be mistaken he's weak and can openly kill him since he had jing zhao near him for the purpose of trapping her?! He even talked to Mu Guang secretly immediately after he woke up?!He even asked Mu Guang and Jing Zhao to give him a dome to stay in even at the cost of having them as a CCTV that monitors his move?!

Again, dude.
If this guy, Bai Jue, killed or even slightly punish Wu Huan, Mu Guang, That Idiot Heavenly Emperor, the whole Heavenly Palace with Soldiers ,and even their also crazy Offsprings-Jing Zhao and Jing Yang,
will all fight to bring justice for their "Mother aka Heavenly Empress" whom for 60000 years, in their eyes, is " very kind and lovely ".
If this guy, Bai Jue, face and fight them-The Idiot Heavenly Emperor, the whole Heavenly Palace with Soldiers, the Three Realms' Gods and Immortals and even their Offsprings,,,
HE WOULD DIE DUDE.

This line of yours is truly disheartening. If you watched the drama, you would know that the God Realm was closed for 60k years and NOT EVEN ONE IMMORTAL SOUL EXCEPT WU HUAN; IDIOT EMPEROR; GU JUN-MAYBE DEAD; TIAN QI- ENEMY OF EVERYONE/HIDING; AND SHANGGU&BAIJUE REMEMBER IT.
He couldn't dare lead the Three Realms with no proof of his background and power again, as he was still weak and is preparing for his great plan of sacrificing himself at the upcoming Tribulation of Chaos.
No one would respect him if he didn't even have the title of a True God or the Taicang Spear and Jing Zhao explaining for him infront of Wu Huan.!

It did not even happen yet but you're already assuming they're all going to be dead. Tian Qi didn't evenhave his spirits scattered when Wu Huan hit him.
He already knew that Wu Huan was the one who killed those Immortals especially "there was even a scene where he saw waht happened above the Nether REalm so how could he just READ A BOOK CALMLY EVEN AFTER THAT PHENOMENA?!
HE HAS A PLAN TO DO THE TRIBULATION OF CHAOS SO WOULD HE EVEN LET A HOLE OR A SINGLE FLY PASS BY HIS EYES?!
He even once got poisoned by Shanggu, don't you think if the writers did not want you to "be mistaken that Bai Jue will die and had no plan, this whole drama won't have this amazing plot, arcs, acting, characters and script throughout 46 episodes?!"

I wasn't able to move on like you and others on Eternal Love but after many years, Ancient Love Poetry of 2021 has now became a drama to me and maybe someday, you too, will find yourself immersed in the world's plot and fall in love with the main leads like how we did in this drama, Eternal Love~
I am not lying. Although I loved Ashes of Love, Love and Destiny, Love and Redemption and Eternal Love of Dream too, ALP topped all of them in my opinion~
But this Eternal Love is still my first love and that will not change~
but Ancient love poetry made me falter about which is my Top drama,really. xD

The first bird, he can have a reason to stay away from his love,
and the 2nd birds was, so that he can let jingzhao keep an eye on him freely as he knew jing zhao will act as a spy for wuhuan..

Some also think that Shanggu just suffered less than anyone....

Have you read of "split personality disorder"? i take this case just like them having a different personality within themselves. people who have this actually don't remember anything about their real personality-qing mu and hou chi.

After ep 40, when bai jue told gu jun that he never expected qing mu to have an independent consciousness, i already accepted that they were another life and person.

But yes, they are still part of Bai Jue and Shanggu but it was just a different life. They were born without any memories of the past which meant they were also not the same person as their parts-shanggu and bai jue's.

They had their own personality, had their own choices, their own path they took, and different memories.
But since they were only just another personality, it is still true that they are part of Shanggu and Bai Jue. Only, they died and might never come back anymore despite having a different consciousness.

how could the writer bear to write and do this. right from the scene where sen yu and the other demons wanted to kill tian qi just for the purple moon. betrayal at its best.
all of these gods,shanggu,tianqi,zhi yang, gu jun, andzihan lived just so they could protect the one they were born to be responsible for. tian qi-the demon realm and shanggu-the three realms.
they were truly betrayed.

shanggu. bai jue. yue mi. qing mu. hou chi. gu jun. tian qi. feng yan and his lover. i love you all. you guys are the most deserving of happiness more than anyone in the world.

i cried for a never ending 40 minutes. ep 41. help. thank goodness i have a cheerful grandmother or else i would cry until i sleep today. now im going to watch ep 42 just so i could come back to normal. this drama is much more painful to continue than love and redemption or than any xian xia i know. how could shanggu's whole life be created just so that she could meet the day where she knew of the reason of her existence and also just so she and bai jue/qingmu could experience all of that happiness only for a short while? gu jun too. how in the world did he deserve to be lonely and die just like that.

This is for those who hate/dislike Shanggu's spoiled life and Arrogant Attitude..

Yes, she was spoiled by Yuemi, Tian Qi and Zhi Yang.
BUT, She Deserved All of Those Spoiling. Really, come one.. how could you guys hate her?
She was going to bear the huge responsibility of ruling the Three Realms and the Mortal Realm.
She also died and sacrificed herself to give her inherited Power of Chaos, her own life and spiritual spirit power
To save the creation of Their Ancestral God who only created Shanggu- the so called Chief God of Chaos Position just so she could die during the Tribulation of Chaos in the End!...

Her arrogance. Is it really bad being arrogant? She lived 10000 years knowing she'd have a higher rank than any of the True Gods. Of course she'd show a prideful attitude, come on.
And that arrogance even vanished completely after she became the disciple of Bai Jue.

Yes Bai Jue deserves to be happier than anyone else. But don't you think Shanggu deserved it too? The ancestral God is the real villain here, i tell you.
