was that supposed to be a plot twist? the two people as well as their families were pretty different from the get go, i got that they were alternate timelines pretty early. i mean, it's written in the synopsis.

The way a whole meal is sitting in front of xyz yet he dare not take a bite in case it's poisoned kind of makes me sad. He is so broken and fucked up. He cannot trust anyone and no one can trust him. How tragic.

just thinking: this drama does look cheap in the production department even compared to the subpar standard of this genre (immortal samsara?) but from the few clips I've seen, the leads seem to have some nice chemistry. am i mistaken?

whenever this drama comes(and i hope I'm in a good place when it does), i hope it is so good and so tragic, and that it breaks me. beautiful too.

though expecting something to be exactly how I like it is asking to be disappointed, i will keep an open mind, and be thankful for the inspiration.

love her sharp tongue. a truly strong and smart female lead. chen du ling's performance is nice. oh, the ml tho. his dialogue delivery (whoever does it) is good, contrasting his deadpan facial expressions. gaping hole in this intriguing story.
