[EP 18] i really hate this. it hits personally. the same shit as in bastard, why is she trying to mend their relationship? no matter what his intentions were he still abused his own child to the point that dfqc killed him himself. it just hurts and makes me so angry when people are like "he's still your father! he loves you, he did that because he loves you!" why? you didn't suffer in my place. plus he's being forced to just forgive him after his lovely dead daddy gave an excuse for abusing him and said what?? "i was in pain seeing you in pain (also i was the one who hurt you the most)" for his sake, haha. f*ck. peak cliche. i don't like you for this, you stupid fairy.

i agree!! for political scheming they should take lessons from the long ballad. hae soo... while i do understand her–if i was in her shoes I'd be helpless and scared too, but i still think she was just a character who had things done to her rather than her doing things. tho there were moments she did do cool things for that era. hate it for the execution, love it for the feels.

one word for this drama-G L O O M Y. the ost is the most atmospheric and tear-jerking ones ever.

THE LEADS

[ EP 32 ] this is just crazy. i love how there are plot twists in each episode, nice pacing. but li susu, seriously. tantai jin has been through too much, just endless suffering. i feel really bad.

the comedy is one of the best I've seen! it's on point and perfectly timed, the characters are so well written too and their friendships are to live for. I LOVE WUXIN SM TOO! i'm on ep 10 and i miss him so much :') that wuxin scene in the temple was sooooo dhdkeksjdk

i'm saying that for whatever text's being followed - novel or the script. it is obviously getting abused and kinda annoying.

also i think c-drama makers do have resources to make decent cgi effects but they don't know how to use it well. the best way explain it would be how a person newly introduced to picsart would use every single element they like and just mash them into a single picture. though the elements are good, too many of them mashed together just looks cheap and amateurish. i really think the effects in ep 1 and the trailer were pretty cool though, and that partly pulled me in.

[EP31] i think the rating is rightfully going down. the only major thing that bothers me in this drama besides the cgi is the endless misunderstandings. it's a good device to move the plot ahead i think but it's obviously being abused here. too much.
