Why would a man reflect on the fact that he's a man child? Really? No woman wants to be in a relationship with an adult male who she has to mother. Ewwww. If he doesn't have adult boundaries with his mother, that does not bode well for any woman with whom he becomes involved.

I am enjoying this but I find the narrative style confusing. It seems out of order and I can't always tell what is the past and what is the present.

I wasn't really interested in the BL story line. I thought the male and female leads had good chemistry and the acting was on point. However, I was disappointed that they kind of dropped the story line of the second female lead at the end.

Nah, the only similarity between the two shows is that in both, the ML and FL have known each other since highschool. In "All These Years", they lose contact with one another for ten years and then meet again. In "You are My Lover Friend" they keep in contact every once in awhile. Also, in my opinion, he had no chemistry with the actress in "You are My Lover Friend."

I totally agree. I made that comment and got so much negative response because I said that I did not like the FL. She's rude and I cannot stomach that. I also did not feel they had good chemistry.

I didn't see her caring for anyone. Her staff seem like good people who work hard for her and she can't even say hello when she walks in the door.

I struggled through episodes 1-3 because I just don't like her. She only has one facial expression. She has no manners . She is inconsiderate and dismissive of her staff and there is nothing charming or endearing about her so far. I'm hoping her character can be redeemed in episode 4. If not, I'm going to have to drop it.

There are a few Korean celebrities with light brown or hazel eyes. They are not mixed race but it is not unheard of.

You read it all wrong. This was not a romantic love story. This was a story about personal healing. Two people can become close without falling in love. Each had to find their peace in their own way.

Meanwhile, I don't see any chemistry between Sen and Elena. She acts the same with all men.

They dig each other but this isn't really a romance as much as it is a mystery with potentially romantic elements. So, there was never any intentions to dig into their romantic connection beyond the mystery.

On the flip side, women have to tolerate men who dismiss them as parasites that hold them back while they want to have their cake and eat it too (meaning they need her to have the revered son but value her as no more than a vessel and demand of her behaviors they choose not to exhibit themselves, such as loyalty, respect, and honor).
