Unlike the other examples you gave (True Beauty), the FL and ML and SML were all in the same age range of 5 years or so in fact ML was one year younger than FL which is rare. Here the old 30 year old is paired with 20year olds, a decade of difference. A decade age gap from 30 to 20 is grooming, young adults brains don't fully develop until 25. Here whether it is psychology or ethics or anything, it is digusting and media culture stops need to doing it.
Moon Baek and many of the side characters were great (the mom who's son died, the chief who took care of ML, the high school kid). The ML lacked charisma and acting ability (he has 1.5 expressions). The story was all over the place and like the drama The Killing Vote lots of potential wasted.

Love the FL actress she was awesome in Twinkling Watermelon. Everything else is bad: the curly hair obession/hate, the casting of Gong Myung (who was great in No Mercy) as a high school student when he looks like her father, meh. What is going on with some of the poor casting these days.
