Pretty sure hee ju’s mum is having an affair with Sa Eon’s dad, it was hinted at, even the chairman noticed, I don’t think he’ll let that go easily. Maybe the plan that Sa Eon has, has to do with this to ruin the family from the inside?? He’s independent, more liked, powerful and influential than his father. He’s liked by the chairman which his father isn’t so he’s already kinda out of their grasp

Maybe he didn’t want to bond with her, or show her that he cares that much about her to protect her and himself from her (latter most likely). Also it’s shown many times that in his POV he thinks she didn’t want this marriage at all, so he doesn’t want her to feel forced to do anything she doesn’t want to. Basically it’s a way to put walls around himself
