This show is in a league of its own. It was so good I genuinely forgot to breathe multiple times.
First thing first despite having TWO seasons, the story actually remains cohesive. No random plot gymnastics. The writing actually knows where it’s going.
The acting and action? S-class. Absolutely ridiculous. Every scene had something going for it, and the emotional moments knew their job. They linger just long enough for you to actually FEEL the weight of what happened before throwing you straight into the revenge plot. And when the revenge finally comes, youre not just watching you feel it too.
Loved that the story isn’t obsessed with the usual “save this, save that, sacrifice everything for the greater good” they are mercenaries bro be real. A lot of it is far more personal business, compromises, loyalties, grudges, and people making very questionable decisions for very understandable reasons.
Loved it, oh and the robots hate them.
