Wayu was fighting against the dad for a month and refused to give up even with everything awful that the dad did so Krit after Rose told him that realized that Wayu chooses being with him over “beautiful picture perfect calm life” that he initially told him he wanted. He gave him that, but now found out that he doesn’t want it and his plan for him being safe and happy failed already and torturing both of them for no reason wasn’t on his card, he wanted to be the only one in pain, but Wayu didn’t move on no matter how hard he tried to push him in that direction.

In the book it was because Krit knew once Wayu will find out about the dad situation Wayu will not give up no way and their hospital encounter while Krit was in a coma blew up those plans and after Wayu told the dad that he will never give up Krit, Wayu and Krit’s mom united against him and dad was left in the dust. Which I think is much cooler and logical version for both Wayu and Krit’s characters, but Thai writers will be Thai writers (that’s my take). Some though are saying that they couldn’t write it in due to the cultural aspect. That’s why instead of Wayu demolishing dad and getting into his head we get dad kinda winning and getting into his head. Which hopefully will get fixed in the last ep.

Saying that Wayu is not responsible for his choices is a bit offensive to his incredibly iconic character though. The main point was that Wayu and Krit had no choices in what families they were born into and couldn’t change that.

So Wayu choosing Krit despite all the obstacles and people around him telling him that he should give up is what makes him so amazing. And yes, it’s absolutely his full on choice that he made and not any life circumstances. He got obsessed with him and rolled with it with no regrets. That’s what saved his life literally and that’s how he got everything he wanted and his dream life.

Wayu is too awesome to read him as a victim. Especially in their love aspect, that’s definitely not it. He knows what he wants and he doesn’t care. In fact writers tuned it down here, originally he was even more insane. It’s Krit or nothing for him literally. And he always yells that YES ITS IRRATIONAL YES ITS PAINFUL YES KRIT IS WORTH EVERYTHING and he would smack Krit if he dares to say that he’s not worth it.

Plus people being a bit blind to the fact that Wayu because of his personality gets himself in a lot of dangerous situations himself just by sheer stupidity and even though it’s somewhat part of his charm the way he’s naive and stupid sometimes trusting every nice person around but also very scary and what makes overprotective Krit his perfect half. In life in general most things are our choices, at least 40%, so yes for example choosing to drink with Ice and not being able to say no when you should is also in fact his choice. All our small choices lead us somewhere whether you like it to admit or not.

Their families they didn’t choose though and here you are correct. But they freed each other from that.

Giving your significant other your military tag means “I’m off the market and now only belong to one person” and that they’re always under your protection. And accepting it means you’re agreeing to a life commitment. They say you only take it when you’re sure they’re your person for life, so like, Wayu, why did you take it? 😆

I don’t see much difference between moms to be honest. In the book Wayu also had to get into the hospital with severe health problems for her to open her eyes same as with Krit. Here jail somewhat fixed her at least.

True, it’s still sad that most of population is like that, I’m happy that it gets better in some parts of the world, but still it’s very smalls steps that are hard to do, slowly is correct 🥲 his father is irredeemable indeed, what would be highly offensive if they wrote the opposite, I’m already sad in advance

Oh don’t remind me, Palm’s dad yet another dad who sadly didn’t die. Hitting his son and telling him he has no rights in life is so heartwarming. Poor or rich same problems. I will never understand why they have any respect for their dads still after this.

You just know parents have done an incredible job when you show the most absurd amount of care and hear in return “can you please act normal? it freaks me out”

Ugh…. I hate this and like where did they even get that they’re not good enough? Okay, Krit was called a disappointment all of his life, I’ll give him that he is brainwashed, but Wayu, too… 🥲 with their level of awesomeness it’s a disgrace. When he said today “Please, wake up and praise me” I kept thinking how Krit try to overcompensate because he always tells him how good he is, while he is himself “disabled” in this department. I only calm myself by the thought that I know they will heal each other after years, this info helps.

my only guess is that you were correct when you said that you didn’t want him replace the girl victim bc if Krit is gonna be shot because of him, he is gonna feel extra guilty. so now after dad washing his brain with “you can’t give him anything besides getting him almost killed” the second one now has dadshit in his head, but they wrote it as if he’s afraid to get heartbroken again, which is so meh compared to our Wayu who said that pain means nothing for a chance to be with Krit even for a moment

I really think Tai said this without irony about needing Wayu to prove to dad that Wayu loves Krit. Along with “Love? You’re just leeching off him.” These writers need to fuck off. The gaslighting of victims is horrendous. Only Wai and Wayu’s mom surprised me in a good way this episode.

a person who wrote this particular episode needs to be fired, except for three scenes most of the episode was full of stuff that these characters would never say or do, why would they ruin tai and wayu like this

I would be grateful for his help and his great love for the rest of my life, but drop him fast when he needed help in return… So you’re basically Pete. How nice 😂 How nice that Wayu is not a selfish asshole and truly loves Krit instead of thinking of him as an instrument to get somewhere in life like everyone else.
