I finally figured out the quirky sound effects. If one will take notice of, it is more prevalent when Gene is involved. It is made to give more meaning to what the character of Gene is thinking/feeling as words alone can't express them. By now, it should be apparent that this is not a serious BL but leaning more on the rom-com genre.
Poor Gene though, Sib is setting the traps and every each of it, Gene fall for it. And I am not complaining. LOL I guess it is time to have a taste of his own medicine.
Poor First. Always remember people, do not do unto other what you do not want to do to you. LOLOLOL
Going back.
Impressed with Kao, in just 1 episode, he was able to show a myriad of facial expressions. And that is what I was looking from him in Until We Meet Again. I still believe his character in UWMA, have little room to show his potential.
(ADDEDUM, regarding Kao: He lacks body movement/expression. That is the next thing I am going to look forward to. The supermarket aisle, he just stand there, stiff and just let his face do the additional non-verbal cue versus what is Up doing in that scene)
Gene, you playful low-key man. Admit it, you want what is coming to you! And yes, I am getting annoyed with Aey's character. Though, he looks like Neung of "Grey Rainbow" and that is why I can't get fully irritated with him.
I am not bothered with the slow pacing of the story, after all, the backdrop is a countryside where everything moves slow.
Mitsuomi and Yamato were both lost. One is trying to find fulfillment in life. The other, a sense of identity. But both just want to be accepted and in the process, found love.
Simple. The slow pacing help one to focus of the individual battle that is happening in each of the two. I love the symbolism why Yamato always stays on the right, while Mitsuomi on the left. Hint: when that set-up very first happened and how it is related to their relationship.
The differences of the two, a city boy and rural boy, seemingly nothing matches but instead, it was complementary. Headstrong and reserved. Impulsive and impatient. Stern and happy. It balances everything out.
Looks like Chu Young Woo have a background in ballet. You can tell in the way he dances.
A BL version of Cinderella?
Curious though. What is the correlation of pinkie swear and the red thread? If I remember it correctly, Until We Meet Again, it was the pinkie that was used to tie the red thread. Does it mean when you do a pinkie swear, you are honoring the bond that was made by the red thread?
It was, couldn't stress more, was, bit annoying with the sound effects at first, but it will mellow down drastically and fast. You won't even seemed to be bother but it when it was placed at the right scenes and not prolonged.
I hardly recognize Up as Wave of "The Gifted", movie, without his glasses. Once it was shown, it wasimprinted that even without it, I can remember Wave's character. Though he is obviously slimmer and shed the teen looks.
As for Kao, I always believed that his character in Until We Meet Again didn't let him show how good an actor he is, the full extent of his talent. Needless to say, he will definitely more avenue here to showcase his acting skills. I am hoping that he would express more with his face.
Hin, cute. Tum, handsome.
Analyzing deeper Up's character here as Gene, it has more resemblance in his character as Wave. The distant, reserved, headstrong, organized chaotic yet impulsive when it comes to his passion. I love how he is easily startled when Nubsib is around. Poor Gene, little does he know that he was put in Nubsib "spell" already.
If Thai BL continues to move farther from the uni setting, the industry will solidify its standing the the BL entertainment industry. But make no mistake, I am still looking forward to "I Told Sunset About You" and "Bad Buddy" as the only uni/school setting that is in my watchlist, for now.
Well, that warrants a slapping indeed. When it comes to love, "what mine is mine", he should have followed exactly…
The lady is Shi De's step sister.
The reason why it took 2 years before he can come back to Taiwan, he was sick because of the health form that can be seen in the first scene in the US.
How Shu Yi found Shi De, it is likely that latter provided the address because he misses Shu Yi that much and can't go back yet because he is under treatment.
Then why 5 years after when they got to see each other again? When Shi De got back to Taiwan, he obviously worked and it took 3 years before Shu Yi found where he was working, buys the company where Shi De is an employee.
Well, that warrants a slapping indeed. When it comes to love, "what mine is mine", he should have followed exactly that. Heck! He should have fought for it... But it's kinda given what's the real score. Only question, why 2 years?
Is that a lot in the context of the Philippines? That's $4, less than a coffee (here). I was surprised at how…
$4 dollars here can get you Double Cheese Burges, fries and soda. I always use McD to compare prices. LOL
I am more after of the value. With WeTV I have watched: Cherry Magic, A Chance to Love, My Gear and Your Gown, Wish You, To My Star and We Best Love: No. 1 For You, one episode ahead of the free subscription. And I am a VIP member for the next 7 months.
Yes, I can watch it for free and just need to wait another week to be accessible for the non-VIP members, but instead of waiting for another week to be up-to-date, I can attend to something right away if something comes up that needs my attention. It's also more of the flexibility with my time.
For 1 hr and 40 plus minutes and comparing that I just received an email from Steam that one of my games on my wishlist is on sale and I just need to add a dollar, making it $5, and I can enjoy it for countless hours.
1.) The production they're filming will be a blast.
2.) Sib will get his khun.
3.) Gene can finish his newest BL novel.
Everybody is happy!

Bhu-Putter, they're already comfortable being "close" to each other, to a degree, a skinship. Hope to see them together again in the near future.
