The Heroes Won, But It Didn’t Feel Satisfying

The friendship between Gon-u and U-jin was honestly the best part of the series. I have to say, the story started really strong and was so good at first, but things started going downhill when the guy began talking about his wife and mentioned that he was going to become a father. From that moment on, I started feeling like the story was losing its direction, but I still had some hope that things would turn around.

Then the first guy died, and the whole team ended up getting such a terrible ending. But in the middle of all this mess, I’m really glad they decided to keep U-jin’s character. Honestly, if they had gotten rid of him too, the series would have completely lost me.

As for the revenge arc, I really wish the villain team had been beaten much harder. The ending they got didn’t feel satisfying at all; it felt a bit rushed. They gave way too much screen time to the enemies, and while it’s true that the heroes won in the end, it just didn’t feel satisfying enough. They basically lost everything and ended up with only two huge gold bars each. After everything they had been through, I really hoped they would get a much better ending.

But at least they still had Mommy and a home to return to. After everything they went through, at least they had somewhere to go back to.
