genuinely think i might be the only one enjoying this drama 😭😭
maybe it’s a case of going in with low expectations because of how everyone was describing it + i’ve watched a fair share of republican era dramas and if you’ve watched one you basically watched them all regardless i actually enjoy the dramatics and messiness of it all partly why i also love lakorns one thing though it’s a bit off putting seeing well known actors in this kinda drama but even then
ughhh my heart genuinely aches thinking about exo like i was too young to fully enjoy them at their prime and now there’s so much obstacles getting in the way when all i want to see is all of them together also why r they allergic to the uk..
genuinely so excited for this!!! last time i saw haein it was love next door and that was lowkey a stinker but i have high hopes for this one.. one thing i don’t like is when they release all the episodes at once coz i prefer tuning in on designated days and having specific days i look forward to but hey if this show ends up being that good i might just binge it all in one sitting
im almost finished this show (mentally i was already over it by ep12 ) both FL and ML not really likeable ML very lackluster and no real depth to him and FL is kind of annoying ive watched two other shows with chen duling as the FL idk if its just her acting or the roles she picks but shes never really wowed me with her performance i feel like her eyes are emotionless i probably should just avoid dramas with her tbh.. they barely have any chemistry and a reason why is because of how short the show is, we didnt have enough time building a real relationship.. a lot of things didnt really make sense like how became a princess and why she knows about military strategy with no experience like why was she commanding a whole army mind you she was dumb enough to get duped in her first life why is she sudddenly so smart now?? another thing with this drama is the plot is just boring too - way too much court politics that i just dont care about.. i hate seeing xie yanfang or deng yi on my screen and they're on it way too often and way too long maybe they couldve actually spent that time instead building better main characters instead but i digress.. im gonna finish the last three episodes on 3x speed absent mindedly to just say i finished this show... my rating would be a 6.7/10!! hopefully the first jasmine is better not really a fan of ryan cheng though
i think their romance was spectacular but it was just overshadowed by the whole time travel soul swap whatever thing segye still best ML of 2026 though
as i’m watching this drama i can’t help but draw comparisons to taxi driver it’s like taxi driver but all the cases are school related i love a good episodic action drama they’re always guaranteed hits also kim muyeol fine ash
i wish the second male and female leads weren’t as involved with the main leads it’s really taking away from this drama like i couldn’t care less about them
hopefully the first jasmine is better not really a fan of ryan cheng though
