okaaaay, i've finished both episodes so here are my rankings and thoughts abt the performances 🤓☝️
1) growl (they're ready to make their debut, they EAT! and minjae!!! man, he truly deserves the title of main vocalist of this show) 2) very good (i have a theory that it's impossible to make a bad cover of that song on a reality show. taehyun & sungwoon and them are living proof of that) 3) u (what can i say? i'm whipped for pretty people in suits making good covers of good songs. hangyul, seungho and aki made this perfomance reach another level) 4) hello future (bing fa. that's it!) 5) miss right (surprisingly good. i wasn't putting much faith in them but they exceeded my expectations!) 6) be mine (they're also good but when i hear a cover of infinite's songs, i want to receive drama, i want to feel like they just went through a divorce, lost custody of 3 daughters and are at rock bottom. this cover just didn't give this vibe to me) 7) breathless (cute but forgettable) 8) fiction (that's bad... they went out of tune so many times and in some parts i felt it was so lacking in energy idk. it wasn't a terrible performance, but it wasn't good.)
anyway, it was a very strong start! i loved the songs' selection and the trainees and i hope they keep this level of quality throughout the episodes 😚
