i totally agree w you because the ending made sense. that’s why i don’t see the point in lowering the rating, even though i suffered a lot; i don’t think the ending was just thrown together for shock value, it had been building up throughout the episodes

i swear i have no problem with sad endings, but i found this one so tragic 😭 it made me so sad that everyone got a happy ending except for tang li ci, even though he was the one who deserved it most
