i haven't come to the comment section ever since, because i already knew exactly what would be going on here. all i can say is some of yall - women especially - aren't beating the "carry me wholesale" (pick me) allegations. it’s actually despicable to witness. when you think about it, it's not just about a brainless romcom anymore. it’s rooted in something i believe we're all very aware of.

the way some of you blindly nitpick her character while conveniently forgetting she's literally the reason the plot exists? embarrassing!! the producers, writers, everyone involved didn't give us that glimpse of her tough life at the beginning of the show for decoration. you don't even have to watch more of her perspective to understand. is it difficult to watch? yeah. but to still blame her after seeing the very foundation of her story? really?

and honestly, it's a pattern. female characters have been suffering in the hands of writers, producers, and viewers since the 1800s and beyond. i still remember how you all dragged gil chae in my dearest. i will never forgive mdl viewers for that. it was a heart sore to witness. some of you are even dragging the sfl for being "too" forward. lmaooo. when are we actually going to heal?

i don't think people understand that the lie stems from she being broke and unable to pay her mum's bills plus her sister's debt. fl has it tough too, can you imagine, the first job she ever managed to get was based on lie and it so happens that the guy she caught feelings for on a previous trip is her boss. in love or not that's so embarrassing and a serious existential crisis. i honestly didn't think i'd feel so much for the characters but it hurts to watch them suffer this much. especially when it gives you a reality check - i love that its not just a brainless romcom, it's actually a reflection. i hope they resolve the issue in today's episode cus ml is suffering sm, they're both suffering. sfl should do the honors of revealing the truth. however if the truth gets revealed i just know it'll be at the very end of the episode
