Had me tearing up
I'm not easily emotional when it comes to fictional media, but there is just something about how this story is told, how natural it feels, and how relatable that cynical felt that made it all too much. I really felt like I saw myself in this short film, and I wasn't ready for that.
I also love that this is an LGBTQ+ short film that's written as love between lovers, not love between lesbians, because that's what a true LGBTQ+ couple looks like. Nothing about LGBTQ+ love is different to heterosexual love, and I like how this film portrayed that.
