Yep. You are correct. I messed up the names. I agree. She liked him but when she got her memory back, things changed and she distanced from him. For a very short time there was some kind of triangle because the princess started liking him, but in an awkward way. This triangle felt like something that someone told the screenwriter to dump in the story and ended up very weird. That's my perception about the whole thing. ;-)

TLC and XFT seemed going towards becoming a couple while XFT had not recovered her memories. However, ZCJ became emboldened after becoming a princess and was even used for the trap. However, things were very mellow and then one recovered her memories and the other realized she wasn't much into TLC. That's why I used "forced". 😉

This is a very good drama. I also just finished Sword and Beloved and found it better than this one. Therefore, gave this one a slightly lower rating than S&B. For me, what threw me back a bit on this story was Tang Li Ci too "perfect". That triangle(?) between Tang Li Ci, Zhong Chun Ji and Xi Fang Tao was a bit weird and felt "forced". Felt like production saying "we need to put a love triangle in the story" and they simply dropped one there.
Anyway, the story's concept was excellent, the production, special effects, CGI and acting in general also awesome.

For me, Red Moon Pact and Sword and Beloved are the best (9.5 to 10) and Love in Pavilion (9 to 9.5). Actually, this one was the best of the three series, which intertwine and should be watched in sequence.

Excellent series! It brought back up the drop on the previous season.
Contrary to what I read in several comments in this and the other seasons, they are intertwined.
The first one (Red Moon Pact) introduces the characters and the general background story. The second one (Love in Pavilion) develops the story and dives deeper into the main characters who will play major roles in the fight against the back fox and this last one (Sword and Beloved) progresses the story with the second season's characters descendants.
It gave a nice closing to the trilogy. The story, production, acting, direction, and soundtrack are phenomenal.
As usual, the MDL rating is way underrated. It should be way higher. At least a 9.

Another American here. Completely agree. I stopped watching Hollyweird crap a while back and barely watch anything from there anymore. The only one I watched in a long time is the Fallout series. That series Witcher went down the toilet.
Therefore, it worried me when I read about South Korea getting cozy with Hollyweird to expand its presence globally. As expected, the quality has been dropping and I see here on MDL that there's a massive propaganda and push for Korean content that became nauseating. A lot of stuff is clearly done by bots and artificial.
Please ignore this woke garbage and bring the old Korean content creation back.

There's a while that I stopped paying attention to ratings here on MDL. The website seems to have been taken over by bots that sway the ratings to questionable values.

Just started this one. Great story, excellent acting, special effects, CGI and soundtrack. The fight scenes are second to none other I watched before. Definitely a must see for anyone who likes wuxia style.

Also from what I understood from the comments down below, those are what they call "vertical dramas" and apparently are a sideline of the main series.

Not really required, but it's better to start from season 1 to understand the characters and what/why they do better.
The cases tend to end with each season.

It's season 4. Someone explained earlier that the producers are supersticious and don't like the number 4, hence changing the title. Aparently, season 5 will return the original name.

Tencent started streaming also. I'll wait for more episodes because I like to binge watch.

Viki will hopefully also stream this season.

This is a very simple and lighthearted series where even the triangles are very mellow. Despite cheesy and even tacky sometimes, it's still fun to watch. I thought it was going to have more kitchen time with some dishes' hints and tips like other series, but this was all about the romance. Anyway, it does the job it proposes to well.

Yep. He has narcolepsy and drops asleep anytime. They even tie him to the horse so he does not fall when dropping asleep.
