Great production with gorgeous photography and visual effects. However, the story could have been shorter. It was too long, too many plot twists and misunderstandings that added too much time, and sometimes boring scenes. Otherwise a great drama and I would have given it higher marks.
Just finished. The series is very underrated here. Should have a much better ranking. CG does a great job, as well as several other actors. The production was meticulous and did a great job overall.
Very good drama that provides a Chinese region's struggles to survive changes snapshot. It reminded a bit of Northward, which did a better job. However, this series also depicted the families' challenges juggling growing kids with financial problems and how to deal with them. Also did a good job showing how half-backed policies deployed by incompetent officials can be disasteous. Here's where the series fell short, probably because of the Chinese government's censorship, that made disasters be "miraculously" solved, thus, everyone happy. Nonetheless, the acting and direction were very good in general, which made the series bingeworthy. I highly recommend watching for anyone interested in watching some great depictions of China's economic development.

It did not phase me either. I paused it, restarted and now paused again. It has been difficult to watch sometimes. Too many of the situations, scenes and dialogues sounded very childish and silly. I really don't get how this one is getting a better rating than the previous one. I just hope that the third is a lot better than this second series, which was a waste of good actors.
Cool movie. Timeline puts its story happening before the series. Guardians of the Dafeng really should have a season two. This movie helps with the post-series drought.

Great drama! They did everything just right. The screenwriter put a good number of plot twists and a great ending, the director kept the story intriguing, the actors made it binge worthy and the soundrack wrapped everything well. And, of course, Bai Lu kept the queen position. Awesome versatility from the canal series to this fantasy one.
I started watching What a Wonderful World because of Zhao Li Ying and its writer and director seem to have smoked some weird stuff. Does this drama follow the same line?

This is an excellent drama. Everything just right: meticulous production, screenwriting, acting, direction. Some scenes made me laught to tears, whereas others were sad and the actors held them extremely well. It is indeed a masterpiece.
Cool movie. I watched the anime before and got interested on the movies. The production did a good job with the special effects, which are the heart of this movie. There are some funny scenes mixed with sad ones in a well-balanced story. It's worth watching.
