The actress who represented the princess with her first appearance acted in the drama knowing that the main role would actually be of Rosy Zhao. I think their performance was great and I have nothing to complain about it. But it's not as if the protagonist role was given to Angelina Jiang and then taken from her (as it sounded according to your comment). I'm sure she wasn't sad about her role. Of course, to choose someone to be the protagonist is a very arbitrary situation, which sometimes depends on luck (because in some cases the actor/actress becomes famous from a supporting role), other is charisma and distinct personality (example of a very charismatic actress is Rosy Zhao, who is famous for being funny in many of her roles), or because of mere popularity. This is a wonderful drama. However, even though it is beyond my expectations, it is still in progress (additionally, I don't know if the end will be good, but I'm really enjoying how the story is developing). Moreover, there are others sageuks that I watched to the end and would highly recommend it, such as "The Moon that Embraces the Sun" (fantasy, romance, political) and "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" (comedy, romance). Maybe you should try and watch their first episodes and see which one you like most.
