I don’t think he was ever really interested in love/dating anyone. Meeting someone he actually cared about was probably a big surprise to him. He probably never expected to ever feel “love”. He doesn’t seem to have family either besides her parents. Plus, they were never registered as a couple in Korea until she did it herself. He probably thought she’d reasonable and cancel the contract once she came back. I wonder if he could have registered another marriage in Korea before her coming back and if that would nullify any other marriages he might have somewhere else. I don’t understand their marriage laws.

I can’t call Jung Woo’s relationship with his wife an actual relationship. He married her because he felt bad for her for being ostracized as a mistress of a married man (almost killed by his wife). In the states, people get married and divorced so easily so I don’t know why it was such a big deal there. He never even liked her in that way at all. It’s ridiculous that she didn’t pick up on that. She was gone for three years and had a pregnancy scare when she got back. It’s ok if she cheats but not ok if he does. Hypocrisy at its max there. She’s just a nasty person. He was far too nice to her by marrying her so that she could be more comfortable at school. Now he’s trapped in a loveless marriage with a wife (because she registered without his consent) who is going to thousands of miles away. Instead of being grateful, she is just hateful. If anything, I hope that he can get out of this marriage (even if he doesn’t end up with Ji Eun).

Moments before her admitting to the affair, he was a complete jerk to her about her coming home late. He was always yelling at her and treated the birds better than her. He didn’t have sex with her for 3 years and called the dang birds their children. How anyone could put up with that, I don’t know. He made her stay outside all night looking for a damn bird without considering her health or feelings. Once a bird flies away...it’s gone. When he knows he has her again, he’ll treat everyone else better than her.

I wish that the female lead acted like she liked the guy she was suppose to like. The kisses were only good because of him. She was a stone wall just waiting for it to end. They are aesthetically pleasing to look at as a couple which makes it more disappointing that they couldn’t get the “chemistry” part just right. You have to watch this show twice to really get into. The first time I watched it, I got annoyed by her and then the stalker lady who doesn’t deal with rejection right. The lead actress needs to work on her intimacy parts...just kiss back at least! Make it look like you like boy! Besides that, it’s a cute story. Two friends who meet years later by fate...can’t beat that.

This is definitely a show for a more mature audience to understand. Relationships are hard enough as it is (especially years into it) and settling seems like a good idea at first but it’ll end up wearing you down after years of just putting up with it. It’s always better when you can be more honest with yourself in the relationship...what you think you could put up with at first will eventually start to annoy you more. We can’t know if her boyfriend is a cheater because no other chick seems to know he exists. As for the lead, the person that draws him is the main female....while other girls are trying to grab his attention. Even the sexy best friend wants him but he just flat out rejects her. This show is more than just plain cheating... probably why it’s so interesting. The chemistry between the leads are off the charts with just the looks alone...
