The drama is good and improves as it progresses. Regarding the ratings, some people downrated the unaired episodes, which likely dragged down the overall score. If you're already familiar with Esther's acting and voice, this drama will be an easy watch.

One of the highlights for me was when Wei Zhi asked Elephant (her former assistant) to work with her again. Elephant flatly refused, explaining that she now has a stable job and won’t return because the comic industry is tough, and drawing comics is just her hobby.
I can really relate to Elephant. Sometimes, chasing your dreams doesn’t put food on the table, you need a stable job to stay afloat. Such is the reality of life.
But later on, Wei Zhi managed to convince her to come back. If only I had someone like Wei Zhi, someone who would help me realize my dreams, support me, and push me to improve, I’d be elated to chase my dreams too.

If an actress's acting or voice continues to bother you even after watching several episodes to the point where you can't focus on the plot, then this drama might not be for you. Instead of constantly complaining here, I suggest finding something else to watch. Personally, I have no issues with these aspects since I’m familiar with the leads, allowing me to enjoy the drama wholeheartedly and appreciate every element of it. Some of us simply want a space to discuss the drama's progression without getting caught up in unnecessary arguments.

His parents' reaction to his accident, along with his sister's condition after losing her legs in a skiing accident, made his choice even more difficult. Giving up his dream was surely a heartbreaking decision.
As for Weizhi, she comes from a wealthy family, and her life may seem effortless, with her career, marriage, and even future laid out by her parents. However, despite this, she has dreams of her own but her mother dismisses them, believing that such a career won’t provide food on the table. Weizhi knows this reality, yet she remains determined to pursue her dreams and keep going, even after facing setbacks.

I read some of the comments here earlier and was discouraged because some said that the ending wasn't great and it felt open-ended. After an hour or two, I gave in and binge-watched the express episodes with (very) low expectations. One thing I told myself before watching the last few episodes was: If I survived the traumatic ending of Scarlet Heart Ryeo, then the ending of this drama should be a walk in the park by comparison.
To my surprise, I ended up watching it religiously, without skipping or doubling the speed. I didn't find it boring at all. I stayed engaged until the very last ep, I guess this is my kind of drama. The final two episodes had me bawling my eyes out. I’ll be heading to the office tomorrow with puffy eyes 😵💫
I realized I shouldn't just blindly trust hearsays and I should dive into things myself to see if they’re worth my time. In this case, this drama definitely was. I even developed a newfound admiration for Yuxi. Man, HE CAN ACT, and he’s really GOOOD at it. As for Shuxin, even if she wants to explore other genres in the future, I hope she would still bless us with at least one romcom drama a year, it's truly her forte.
Overall, it was a satisfying watch. Although like others, I do wish they had shown Fu Zhou’s face in the last scene 🥲

Scenes with Miaomiao and her father, for example, have resonated with viewers, with one tiktok video getting a lot of views. Some moments touch the hearts of the audience, and that’s what makes it stand out.
One thing I really like about this drama is how Ziqi’s feelings for Miaomiao develop gradually rather than instantly—we get to witness each stage unfold.
Ziqi is so hard on himself, believing his life lacks real value and that he’s only living for his sister. So when Miaomiao risks her life to save him, he’s genuinely confused. Even though Miaomiao claims she only did it to get back home, her concern for him is obvious, especially when she says, “Don’t bleed so much in the future.” It seems like it’s not only Ziqi who’s starting to fall, Miaomiao, too.
