Praising the Series
The story is beautiful it starts off in a cute way, and it breaks all the expectations we created in the beginning. The surprises are open-mouthed!
When we like someone, we can't really see anything around us anymore, the way they embraced this concept, and giving us a character –Pi– who was a real "Fish Upon the Sky" without knowing, to someone close to him, his "enemy"– Mork, and his feelings turning from hate to love, is certainly beautiful and applauding.
I loved the naturalness of everything in the series. And all the other characters (like Duean's gang– Koh, Yok, James and Jeans) Duean and Meen, theirs parents, and the plot twist made this series a pleasure to watch and listen to.
I loved!

When we see ourselves reflected in art
We constantly come across people who come from troubled backgrounds, and these people are usually still caught up in them. A bond forms that is so strong that breaking it causes us more fear than a bad ending for ourselves. This series explores a theme which, although much debated, has become ‘normalised’ due to the daily shock and its constant presence. Sisters being abused, mothers staying in marriages for years to keep the household running smoothly.
And, finally, it shows us how, for our own sake, we end up trampling on principles and values... even using someone’s death for our own benefit.
The performances were MAGNIFICENT. The plot was very well constructed. What a production!

Impressions of Season 1
‘Girl from Nowhere’ is an impressive production that explores the impact of our choices. The series features Nano, the personification of karma, who reminds us that every decision, whether good or bad, carries inevitable consequences. Each episode reflects deep social themes, challenging the viewer to confront complex moral issues.Right from the pilot episode, it's clear that the series leaves no room for boredom or predictability. With surprising twists and turns, the premiere sets the dark and intriguing tone that guides Nano's journey, keeping us on our toes from start to finish.
‘Hi-So’ is another standout episode, tackling the emotional and moral price of privilege. In a precise and provocative way, it questions power structures and the quest for social acceptance, leaving an unsettling but necessary feeling.
My favourite, ‘Lost and Found’, is unique in that it shows karma affecting third parties connected to the protagonist, rather than directly affecting him. The approach to indirect guilt and the consequences of other people's actions is brilliant and emotionally striking, making this episode unforgettable.
‘Girl from Nowhere is not just a series; it is a powerful reflection on morality and the complexities of human choices, told in a captivating and provocative way.
